  • great vacation

"Really enjoyed our week. Very accurate description and photos. Maid service everyday, also laundry which was wonderful! Owner very helpful although he had to leave after our first day. I want to say that Hector and his wife were extremely accommodating in his absence. Every request was seen to. The view was great and we certainly saw our share of monkeys. The location was great! Walking distance to Cafe Milagro and other good restaurants. Right in the middle of everything. The unit was very roomy and the bedrooms were at opposite end of the unit, so it was private. We spent most of our time on the large covered deck. I would definitely recommend Villa Manuel Antonio to my friends. One thing, the sofas were so hard. We hardly used them as we were always sitting outside with the wonderful view."

  • Amazing place!

"We stayed at this house for 9 days and words don't do it justice! We absolutely loved staying here! It was everything we expected and much more. We had Howler and white faced monkeys hanging in the tree above the beautiful infinity pool as well as toucans almost every day we were there. We almost didn't want to leave the house in case we missed something! The house was beautiful, clean and new. It is situated in a great location overlooking the ocean and right in the jungle with no other houses in sight. It was only a short road off the highway and only 7-10 minutes from either Dominical or Uvita for groceries. The owners, Patti and Jim, were very helpful and friendly. Silvia, who help set up tours and answered general questions was great too. I would recommend though doing a little research on tours to make sure you are getting what you are expecting for a good price. Our deep sea fishing trip she booked was on the pricy side and the boat didn't go out far enough for the sport fish like Sailfish. We found there was lots to do in this area including a day trip to Corcovado but not as touristy as Quepos one hour to the north. The beach just south of Uvita called Colonial beach was awesome for beginner surfers and in two days we might have seen 10 people there! Ventanas beach was fun too with caves to walk through. I've already recommended this property to many friends and relatives. I have not been able to stop talking about it since I came home!"

  • Awesome Home!

"A few friends and I went down to Jaco for a week long fishing/surfing/diving trip. This was the absolute PERFECT place to stay!! The master bedroom was HUGE!! A stones throw from the beach, wonderful pool, and only 8-10 minutes from downtown Jaco. Not only was the house perfect, but the property manager was so helpful!! She was just a phone call away for anything we needed. Hopefully we'll be back to Hermosa Palms in the near future."

  • LUNATICA

"Hi Ralf -- Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for our amazing trip. Lunatica was beautiful… everything we hoped for and more. I loved laying in a hammock and watching the sunrise and sunset over the ocean. What a beautiful view. I love to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed. We bought fresh fish at the local market in Quepos and grilled out almost every night. Thomas and Hazel were so helpful and knowledgeable which made the whole vacation completely stress free. Loved seeing the Capuchin monkeys and hearing the Howler Monkey every morning. We didn't want to leave… Thanks again and we're already planning our vacation for next year! Curran and Chris"
