  • Romantic Birthday Getaway

"Casa Tangora was too big for just 2 people, but my girlfriend and I made the most of it! The master suite on the top floor had a comfortable bed with a perfect view of the jungle and Pacific Ocean. We had a few problems with the gas in the kitchen, but were able to cook some fantastic meals on the gas stove and on the BBQ by the pool. Stephen, our contact for the house was an outstanding host to our needs for sightseeing and information on local cuisine. After we toured the zip lines, ATV tours and beaches, we loved coming back and drinking frozen drinks by the infinity pool and watching the sunsets. The wildlife (spiders, frogs, parrots, birds, lizards, sloths) were amazingly "not scary". 4WD is a definite MUST when getting up that last part of the driveway. Never would have made it without it. The shower in the master suite was different, but taking a shower by sunset was amazing! Hot and cold water available. Watch for frogs in the toilets...it can be quite a surprise when opening toilet lids. Internet was intermittent and no cable, so bring movies. We brought Seasons 1-2 of House of Cards. Great series! Don't leave your electronic devices plugged in the wall at night or put it on a power strip. Power recycles and it blew our Beats portable speaker. Thank you so much for an amazing stay at Casa Tangora. I recommend it for all parties!!"

  • Great Condo and resort

"We recently returned from a great vacation to Los Suenos. We really enjoyed the condo and it was the perfect location to all sorts of activities. The condo was clean, comfortable and provided a great home base for swimming, restaurants, the ocean, the beach club and several other activities including zip lining, crocodile tour and then monkey tour. HRG was great to work with and very helpful."

  • Amazing house

"My wife and I and another couple stayed at this house for 8 nights. We could not have been happier. It is truly an amazing house in an incredible area. We had everything we needed right around the corner. Donna the owner is a wonderful host. We had some possible trouble with the volcano near the airport flying out and Donna was so nice to work with us if we needed had something happened. Fortunately nothing did but it was nice to know she was willing to try and help in any way she could. We did not have a car and there was no need for one. The bus(60 cents) is safe and very convenient or cabs for 5 dollars anywhere you would want to go are also right there. Its not on the list that is provided by the concierge but I suggest using costa rica tropical adventures for your adventures if you are staying at the house. http://www.manuelantoniorafting.com.These guys are amazing and speak very good english. They also live a few houses down from this house so they help you in any way they can. We did two days of adventures with them and they also ended up taking us out salsa dancing one night and to a locals place for dinner one night at no charge just because they are good people. They also took us deep into the jungle to do a natural hot spring while eating lunch with a local family who cultivated everything they cooked for us. It ended up being the best meal we had there. The internet is also very good in the house just in case you wanted to use it. Cant say enough good things about this place and we will be returning to this house when we go back."

  • Osa Vista Acres and Casa Vista are spectacular!

"You'll absolutely love this very special part of Costa Rica's southeast Pacific Coast, the interesting towns from Quepos to Ojochal, the "string of pearls" beaches, and Diane's and Peter's beautiful place and spectacular hospitality. I stayed at Casa Vista for 10 days in March 2015. The casita is perfect - completely well-appointed and has everything you need. The view is breathtaking -- all day any day, but especially at sunrise. Diane and Peter are great and so into their community - they have wonderful spot-on suggestions and recommendations, really know the area thoroughly, and can help you plan your time there. It's also great just to hang around the beautiful pool with them and Derby, the darling Australian shepherd. Poolside, I had close-up experiences with a Toucan, a very busy 3-toed sloth (believe it or not!), and a family of howler monkeys making their way through the trees. Unbelievable. There is so much to do and see in this area, and Highway 34 is a magnificent road in perfect condition. Calle Escaleras, off of which Osa Vista Acres/Casa Vista is located, is as challenging and Diane and Peter advise you --- do rent a 4WD SUV. It is in fact mandatory! You get used to the road -- it's only 3 kms from Hwy 34. I can't say enough --- book your visit now and you'll be fighting me for rebookings!"
