  • This is Paradise

"My girlfriend and I have been here nearly one month and it is fabulous. The location is perfect for going into town or the beach. Easy, inexpensive, reliable bus transportation or a quick cab ride. The monkeys have visited, the birds are very vocal and we have an iguana who has taken permanent residence on the patio roof..the amenities are perfect. The heated, locked security closet is a real perk and having a washer and dryer makes the visit even more stress free. The Hotel California behind the complex offers amazing sunsets, happy hour specials, and wonderful food. As two women traveling alone we couldn't feel more safe and secure. Lance and Letty are great people as well as awesome musicians...they rock it every Saturday in Quepos...I did a lot of research on choosing a place to stay for an extended period and I know I got the best value..Pura Vida!"

  • Casa Namaste! Romantic and private retreat in lovely San Josecito

"My husband and I live in Dominical, Costa Rica and needed a place for a “stay-cation” when we had an overflow of visiting relatives in our own home. Casa Namaste was absolutely perfect for us – a true home away from home! Mercedes, daughter of the owner, greeted us warmly and then left us to ourselves, but always available if needed. The house is very private and enjoys a beautiful jungle and ocean view. It is beautifully decorated with artful objects from the owner’s extensive travels and cleverly designed to make the maximum use of space. Sliding glass doors and screens disappear into walls to create a gracious, chic and comfortable indoor-outdoor living space focused on the small, lagoon-like pool. The kitchen was well equipped and surprisingly well stocked. We never used the bedroom air conditioners because of the multiple ceiling fans and almost constant breezes passing through. We enjoyed the large flat screen TV and were able to stream Netflix with the fast wi-fi connection. We have stayed in many VRBO properties in Costa Rica and in other countries and feel that our stay in Casa Namaste was one of our best, most comfortable and relaxing ever. Kudo’s to Linn and Mercedes for what they have created and the grace with which they share it with others. We hope to see you again soon!"

  • Great Vacation

"I stayed in La Paloma Blanca for four weeks with my husband and my brother and his wife. I can still hear the crushing waves and feel the breeze from the ocean. We watched the sunset from our rocking chairs and the terrace, sometimes we fell asleep, feeling so relaxed. We had the windows and doors opened all the time, even at night and felt 100% safe. We hardly used the air conditioners in the bedrooms, the fans were enough. The airport driver recommended by the owner was great, friendly and dependable. He emailed us about the scheduled drives. The Management was excellent. Our needs were dealt with right away. We missed having a dishwasher, but the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We played tennis at the Morgan Cove Hotel which is a short walking distance. After tennis we walked to many restaurant for nice cold beer and lunch. Then we went to Mas X Menos Supermarket for groceries and took cheap taxi back to La Paloma Blanca. We ate fish bought at the Fish Store or at the reastaurant. On Fridays there is a Pot Luck in the evening and we couldn't believe how many Canadians we met. We are from Ontario and they had the coldest February in history. We sure chose a good month to stay in friendly and sunny Jaco Beach. We are hoping to return soon."

  • Unbelievable Paradise

"My husband and I, along with our children and grandchildren, stayed at Milla la Maria for a week in Feb., 2015. What a wonderful experience. The owner was there to meet us and give us a tour and information on services and restaurants. Prior to our visit he was very helpful in securing quad rentals and transportation services. He also called several times during our stay to check on us. There are literally no words to describe the beauty of this home and grounds. The home itself is an architectural treasure as are the aesthetics of the home. Yet it was very comfortable and homey with Internet that always worked! The pool area and surrounding grounds all the way to the Ocean were spectacular. The beautiful plantings, sculptures and pool arrangement were so lovely. The walk to the ocean was a delight with again beautiful foliage accompanying you. The walk was very short and voila you arrived at Playa Santa Teresa with miles of beaches that are sparsely populated. The water and surfing were great but most lovely were the sunsets. Words can not do justice! The property is very well kept and Melani, the housekeeper, a dream. She even washed our clothes and any dishes everyday! My favorite time was when it was quiet in the morning and you could hear the birds and see the animals including monkeys. We all loved the estate cats and Perone the best and cutest little dog! On these cold mornings back home, I often have visions of our stay and they warm my heart. Perfect for all ages from the most active to those like me who love to lounge and read. I almost forgot to mention that this property is totally secluded with no sight lines to other properties. Yet it is close enough to restaurants, etc. to be very convenient. Much to do or nothing to do is such a great option. Our kids and grandkids loved quadding and exploring along with the pool and beach. There is zip lining, horseback riding, yoga, etc. available or again nothing but relaxing. Some very good restaurants in Santa Teresa but again never crowded. The town has good stores for groceries and a variety of small shops. My husband and I travel frequently.and many times have rented homes. This is truly the BEST yet. Milla de Maria is an oasis of beauty. Anyone would be very fortunate to experience it!!"
