  • Rainforest seclusion

"This zen little getaway is perfectly secluded high in the mountainous rainforest. It was so relaxing and romantic to feel like the only two people in the world. The constant buzz of cicadas and cries of birds of prey played the perfect soundtrack for ambient white noise. I can't imagine a better backdrop to recharge one's body, mind and soul than the dramatic sunsets with a 360 view from the mountains to the Pacific. It was so obvious that Paula and Marty care deeply about their guests and their chosen home, down to each exquisite detail and the gracious hospitality we were shown."

  • Great Family Vacation. Unbelievable Views.

"We recently stayed at Casa Celestial during Holy Week 2015. We are a family of 5 with girls 5 y.o., 8 y,o., 10 y.o. and met our friends who brought their 5 y.o. son. The Casa is a special place and the views really are that magnificent. We spent our evenings in the pool swimming and watching the sunset and our mornings having breakfast in the Palapa taking in the view. The house is very comfortable, and with the 8 of us there still felt like there was plenty of room to spare. This is a gated community and felt very safe - which is worth mentioning for people who are bringing their families. The drive from the gate is very steep -- if you are renting a car - make sure you get something with enough "guts" to get up the incline. We grilled fresh fish from the local fish co-op in Tarcoles almost daily. There is a great farmer's market in Jaco once a week on Friday. We had private surf lessons with "The Surfing Factory" in Jaco. These guys were great, and I specifically recommend Luis, who was great with the kids. An incredible week , we already started planning our return visit for next year."

  • Wonderful family vacation!

"We recently stayed at Casa de Pura Vida with two other families for our yearly family vacation. Casa de Pura Vida was incredible and perfect for our combined families. There was a ton to do and keep us busy…pool, beach, hiking to waterfalls, great restaurants, surfing and so much more! The pool on the roof was perfect for during the day with a beautiful ocean view. The pool downstairs was great for the kids in the evening while we were cooking and lounging. The sunset and sunrise is a MUST on the roof. So beautiful and peaceful. The secluded community felt safe and the beach was clean and lovely. We had a few meals at the restaurant on the beach and were surprised to see lots of cute and friendly monkeys. Casa de Pura Vida was amazing and I would recommend this house to all of my friends and family. We are currently planning another trip back within the next year as there is much more that we want to do and see."

  • The Perfect Escape!

"As I sit here looking out the window on this cold, rainy day I am dreaming of the week I just spent at Casa Carolina. An oasis that overlooks the Manuel Antonio National Park and Pacific Ocean, this property offers a wonderful place to get away. I can not say enough about the staff. There was not one request we had that they could not fulfill. From arranging adventure tours to keeping the home spotless to making the best ceviche I have ever eaten, Willie,Lisabeth and Saul did it all and always with a smile. Casa Carolina has a central location with quick access to the marina for fishing, the beach for sunning and swimming and downtown Quepos for shopping. We also enjoyed delicious meals at nearby restaurants and spa treatments at an upscale hotel. Even with all the activities we did partake in, we found our favorite times were watching the sunset while sitting poolside at Casa Carolina."
