  • Excellent location, incredible paradisiacal feeling!

"We stayed at Potopoto for three unforgettable weeks, we came at the end of June when the weather can be rainy or cloudy, instead we got super clear blue skies during the day and fresh rainy nights. The renting transaction was very pleasant communication with the owner was fast and clear throughout. In the house you can immediately notice that the owners have paid attention to detail on the services and utilities it offers. The pool was well maintained and recently cleaned. The grass, palms and gardens were all very good taken care of. What is important to notice is that the rooms were cleaned every morning, and changed sheets every 3 days, each room has its own bathroom which makes a huge difference to other houses in the Costa del Sol. The setup of the house has a bit of a camping ground (ranch) feeling, where you feel the beach and the palms the whole day. The kitchen and eating place sits next to the pool, and the beach literally 50mts. from the pool, this for us was the greatest plus of the house. We will definitely come back, I hugely recommend PotoPoto!"

  • Wonderful relax with family

"We decided to take a weekend getaway from the routine. So playa dorada in El Salvador and the casa tortuga was picked. The staff are wonderful and the house has everything we needed for both parents and kids to enjoy. We did our own cooking but Ana did purchase us some fresh fish as well as offering to get us Shrimp if we wanted. The pool is good for children and about 1/3 is shallow while the rest is large enough to do laps. The beach can be a bit rough depending on weather but we were able to get in some hours in the ocean as well. On sunday we walked down to a turtle reserve project and learned all about sea turtles and their conservation. The kids got to liberate young turtles!"

  • Fundacion Corazon Del Padre

"My family and I have stayed at El Jacelito twice and hope to stay again sometime soon! The accomodations are prefectly maintained and well decorated. It is secure and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful! We stayed there as a family with 2 friends and aslo with an nternation Missions Team and were very blessed by the home owner who helped us to plan our stay. We have stayed at several beach homes in El Salvador and this one is by far the best - especially for a family with small children or for larger group."

  • Peaceful escape with heavenly views

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for five days in April and we loved every minute here. Vilma took very good care of us, and graciously let us stay when we mistakenly arrived a day earlier than our booking. Kenny's breakfasts were huge and flavourful and we ended up sharing one breakfast most mornings. They set up a small kitchen for us to use and we cooked our own dinners a couple of nights. The private beach was clean and safe. We walked alone along the beach every night before bed and had no concerns about our safety. The waves could be forceful but were fun to play in with boogie boards which we rented from a place in El Tunco. There were a few surfers staying at the B&B and they had a lot of good things to say about the surfing in El Tunco which got very busy during the day. The B&B is close to so many towns and we drove into La Libertad a few times -- traffic could be really, really busy getting into La Libertad. A lot of this had to do with the fact that we were visiting El Salvador during the Holy Week and everyone was at the coast for vacation. As some of the other reviews noted, there are a lot of stairs which could be problematic for those not used to it, especially in the heat. There wasn't any wi-fi as Vilma was waiting for a new modem to arrive from San Salvador, but she kindly let me use her computer when we needed to check into our flight. I know she let other guests who had laptops with them, borrow her internet stick which was convenient for them. As Rodolfo mentioned (who we met when we were at the B&B), Beto's restaurant is just at the top of the hill and has stunning views, excellent food and live music. A real treat. Looking forward to when we can come back to visit and stay longer."
