  • Couldnt have asked for more!

"While El Salvador is still a bit "3rd world" Villa Bendicion is nothing short of first class. The owner Mike and his family go above and beyond to ensure your stay is the best ever. The property is absolutely stunning, safe, and very well taken care of. The small town of Zonte is a short walk yet just far enough away that you can hear anything at night from town. The amenities and full kitchen at the house make you feel like your at your own home away from home. We cooked most evenings and enjoyed the cooler night time air on the patios and watched the BEAUTIFUL thunder and lightning storms that would pass through. If your looking to get away from it all but close enough to restaurants and other things this is the property for you. Truly looking forward to going back!"

  • Best Central America Vacation Ever!

"Wow! We have visited quite a few places in Central America (Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica), but El Zonte was by far our favorite! The town is superlaid back, but you can find enough to do in between surfing and naps - we jumped off a waterfall one day! Also, El Zonte is the only beach I've been to where you can watch an amazing sunrise and an awesome sunset over the same beach (because of El Salvador's east-west orientation)! The house is perfect - fully air-conditioned which is a treat in Central America. The pool is cool and refreshing and is cleaned daily. We cooked in the well-equipped kitchen daily for breakfast and lunch and visited the super-chill, delicious beachfront restaurants for dinner. Jorge at Olas Permanentes can hook you up with surf tours, boards, or tours. We can't wait to go back this summer!"

  • The pictures don't do it justice

"This property far exceeded our expectations. Came here for a 9-day surf trip with some friends and was completely blown away. There are three main hang-out areas: the main house with 3 bedrooms and a large open veranda with a bunch of hammocks; the gazebo on the point, incredible view; the west residence which houses the kitchen, 2 bedrooms and abuts the pool. Pool very, very nice and relaxing. Private steps down to a private beach and a hideaway, super-refreshing outdoor shower. It is a walk to the main surf point but well worth it for the beauty of this house. It should also be noted that the 2 bedrooms in the west building do not have air conditioning, but everyone was quite comfortable with the ceiling fans nonetheless. Santos and Karin took exceptional care of our party. Cooking when we asked, guiding the uninitiated into La Libertad for supplies on occasion. I have been to Playa El Zonte many times but most of my friends had not. Now they will all be coming back."

  • Better than ever

"This was my third trip to Casa Tia Tita....the first time bringing my family (wife and three young kids 9,7 and 5) - usually its just the guys on a surf trip. The house, grounds and setting are as amazing as ever, and an estatic THANK YOU to Mario (driver/groundskeep) and Morena (cook/chef) and their beautiful kids. They are amazing (my kids referred to the meals as Morena's Amazing Food). As always, Gordon was super easy to deal with to get it all set up. We love El Salvador and Casa Tia Tita!!"
