"My wife and I stayed at Becky's apartment during a week of language school in early March; this well-furnished and comfortable apartment was a short walk from the market and no more than 20 minutes from the far side of Antigua. We loved the quiet, the views of Agua and the upper level patio where we spent every moment we could. Leonor, the housekeeper, was attentive and went out of her way to make sure that we had clothes for her to wash. Can think of only 2 negatives: the stairs without railing might be tough for someone with bad knees or hips, and a bar of soap in the shower would have been a nice touch. We would certainly consider staying in this apartment again if back in Antigua."

"We stayed in this house and Matt's other house in Panajachel. Both were incredibly beautiful, clean, well stocked and comfortable. Our stay here was very relaxing, and I loved sitting by the gorgeous river and reading. The property was bigger than I expected and incredibly landscaped. I can't say enough how beautiful it is here. Matt and Hector (property manager) were a pleasure to work with."

"This house was all we hoped for and much more. It comfortably housed 8 people and was so well stocked with everything we needed. The owners, manager and housekeeper were super attentive and helpful. The house, gardens, patio and sunroom are beautiful! Definitely a place we want to return to."

Good place to stay for a week in Antigua Guatemala
"We spent a nice week in Antigua Guatemala at this townhouse (early March 2015). The grounds are beautiful. Our daughter (2.5 yo) and guests enjoyed the pool and free wifi internet! The master bedroom is a great size with cabinets, closet and fireplace. The 1.5 bathrooms are nice as well and the second bedroom with two twin beds -- quaint for younger guests. The sheets and pillows could use a refresher. Having a laundry on site helped a lot as the house needed quite a bit of tidying, esp. the floors. The neighbors were mostly welcoming and guards appeared to keep the community secured. Being in the end unit of the complex is ideal -- with the direct sunlight, access to the pool and green space, large balcony and endearing volcanic view. We made good use of the kitchen, though the purified water left in the dispenser was a likely cause of sickness. *Only use UNOPENED bottles/crafts of water during your stay in Guatemala.* We enjoyed watching the TV and a movie from time to time, though both devices are fairly outdated and DVD player is indeed fickle. We loved how the house was decorated, though seat and couch cushions might be overdue for a steam conditioning. Having a cell phone included was super appreciated! While you certainly need to plan the day before venturing out, it was nice at times to be separated a bit from the center of town. Luckily, there are tuk-tuks to shuttle you home after a long day or shopping at an affordable rate (<Q10=USD$1.50). Definitely study a map of Antigua before you arrive. The overall stay at this townhome was very good -- the price was appropriate for the space, amenities and location!"
