"a friend my mother and I stayed at mi case for a week. It was lovely. The house has a nice cachet to it, it is close to west end but quiet. The roosters do scream early in the morning, but they are all over the island. The kitchen is fully equipped, which is very nice, we ended up saving a lot of money by cooking at home. It is a very safe area but we still hid our belongings when we left. The rooms a nice and the beds are comfortable. We loved our stay!"

"We stayed in an upstairs apartment--two bedrooms with two baths, living room, kitchen and porch. The balcony overlooks the white-sand beach with coconut trees and the ocean--stunning! The apartment was open and breezy and only got a little warm during the day. We slept very well. Everything was clean and well-stocked. Don, the on-site manager, had Marvin, his assistant, pick us up from the ferry dock, so arriving was easy, and Marvin also took us back when we left. They also got out the kayaks and life vests for us, which could use whenever we wanted. (They also have some windsurf and small sailboats that you might be able to use if you know how to set them up.) We took the hammocks to the dock where we hung out a lot and met nice families from the resort next door who were also into snorkeling (they said the reef in front of this area is the best around, but you have to swim 10 minutes to get there).
It's a ten-minute bus ride to the supermarket in Coxen Hole for groceries, and a 20-minute ride to West End, so you have easy access to everything without being around many people. For the most part we were alone, so it's a great place if you want some solitude.
I will definitely go back here when I have a chance. I loved everything about it, but especially the fact that we had this beautiful place, the kayaks and the docks, practically to ourselves, almost as if it were our own home!"

"We just returned from fuego del mar, where we celebrated my 50th bday and our 25 th anniversary. We had a group of 8 and this was the perfect house. Great pool, awesome central area with great breezes. We snorkelled of the back, and the dive boats from subway picked us up there as well. The meals we had there were very good, and the van made it easy for our whole group to go out together. We are trying to decide when to go back.
But, beware the bugs, they didn't hurt or itch, until we were ready to leave, but now they are very itchy."

"If you're looking to unwind, this place is just the right speed (and price)! The sunset is amazing and the location (between West Bay Beach and West End Village) can't be beat. Grabbed a car at the airport, stopped by and grabbed some groceries (at the direction of our lovely hosts, Marlin and Carleen) and slipped effortlessly into the local scene. Dive boat picked us up at the end of the pier and the $3 Water Taxi was a great way to run around once the rum started flowing! The power went out on the island (as it does from time to time in developing worlds), so as long as you're not wound too tight (or forget that this is actually someone's home), you'll love this place (I actually saw giant red Macaws)!"
