"My wife and I, and three adult children could not have enjoyed our brief vacation more. Eric and Karen are very kind and helpful, incredible resources for information when needed. We opted to rent a Mazda pickup truck from Avis at the airport which worked very well for multiple trips to airport to pick up kids. Otherwise we just enjoyed the house and the beach just short stroll down the hill. We loved walking the beach to West End. Karen directed us to Denisse at Clearwater Adventures. What a joy! How convenient to have a snorkeling-Scuba-adventuring outfitter right out our backdoor.
The house is very comfortable. Sorry to admit, but we appreciated the efficient internet connections. We grilled the fresh fish and shrimp that "Jerry Lewis" delivered to the house. Ample dinning area for our family, always plenty of room on the deck. Seems like I should come up with some sort of negative just so people wont think I am on the payroll, but no, when we go back to Roatan, Orchid Breeze is where we will be.
I will say that if you are going to rent a pickup be sure you are comfortable driving a stickshift stopping and starting on steep terrain. I really enjoyed driving in and out of Orchid Beach but often thought about friends who don't know how to drive a stick and what a challenge it would have been for them.
Our heartfelt thanks to Karen and Eric, and a big hug for Denisse at Clearwater."

"This was our first trip to Roatan and we can't wait to go back! Beautiful barefoot beach with many dining options on the beach. My luggage was lost by the airline so I bought a bathing suit, coverup, flipflops (barely got any use), and an island dress. This was seriously all I needed! The best snorkling we've ever done just off the beach. I will suggest if you rent equipment, Infinity has a dive shop with good snorkel gear but keep it for the whole week. We returned ours the first day and wanted to rent again but they ran out of stock. Local boys run a water taxi called "Joy Ride" Davie and Quentin are super kind and fun! They took us on an island tour (from the water) and to a place to snorkel called Spooky Channel. This was the most awesome experience ever! Saw sea turtles and schools of fish in the 100's! So beautiful! Andrea's condo was perfect for 2! Nice and quiet in the back of the complex, completely out of earshot of the pool and bar. She was great to work with and answered our questions quickly. Infinity was the most luxurious condo's on the beach; great pool, great bar, great food. No need for all inclusive there are lots of fun places to eat and drink along the beach. My only other suggestion is to go for more than 1 week:)"

"Our 5th trip to Roatan and 4th to Infinity Bay and this is the best room location we have had yet. Perfect for my wife and I. Lindy was great to work with and very responsive, as were the people at IB. West Bay is getting busier each year, but it also means more things to do and places to eat. Will be back next year."

"Our group of seven friends spent one week at La Diosa, and what a treat. We really enjoyed the house, and particularly enjoyed the ease of kayaking to the reef and snorkeling in the beautiful waters of Roatan. La Diosa was the ideal vacation spot for our group of foodies and the fish (grouper, snapper) from Snapper's store was very fresh. The large grill was perfect for almost every meal - fish tacos, hamburgers, ribs, even nachos. Adrienne was a tremendous help with organizing the reservation and answering all of our questions. Liz was attentive to our needs and helped us to find the most interesting and fun spots on the island (including music at BJ's...). The cell phones provided with the house eased our communication with the U.S. and on Roatan, this is a very nice touch. The house itself is perfect for a group of friends who want privacy but also interactions in the great room, by the pool, on the dock. The grounds include beautiful local and well-groomed vegetation. As we visited during the dry season, we never saw a mosquito and only encountered a few no-see-ums. The internet was a challenge, but Liz went the distance to keep us linked electronically. The two suites were beautiful accommodations for two couples. The smaller two bedrooms were fine for our group, but note that the residents in those rooms were required to shower in one of the suite bathrooms (or in the outside shower). All in all, we had a tremendous time in Roatan and will be back again to enjoy the hospitality of La Diosa and the friendly care of Adrienne, Liz and Ephraim."
