  • Honeymoon in Paradise

"Words cannot express the perfection that is in this condo, resort, and destination. We spent our honeymoon in this condo in Roatan and it provided everything we were hoping for and more. The booking, check-in, and transportation to/from the airport was done with ease. Susan provided all of the information we needed for our stay and we felt completely comfortable being on the island. Her help and advice really made this a stress-free vacation and that was very much appreciated as we just went through the whole wedding process. The condo was very clean and spacious and we felt right at home with nothing left to want. We actually cooked several meals in the well-equipped kitchen that had everything from spatulas to a blender. The added comfort of this wonderful condo really came in handy as we had a few rainy days where we decided to stay inside rather than venture out. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the humming birds which came within feet of us and the beautiful landscape that felt more like being in a dream rather than real-life. The fact that snorkeling on such a vast and beautiful reef, right from the beach of this resort, put the cherry on top of this already perfect location. We saw every possible color of the rainbow in tons of fish. My husband even saw a sharp tail eel his first venture out (we had to look that name up online so we were happy he had his underwater camera when he saw it). I highly recommend bringing an underwater camera as you will create memories in this ocean and see things that are impossible to explain without proof. Some of the days there, there was barely a ripple in the water and it felt more like a huge, clear lake than an ocean. There are many different dining locations, most of which can be reached within walking distance of the resort, right along the beach. There is also a store within walking distance that sells bread, cases of beer, and other food-stuff. You really cannot beat this location on Roatan. Overall, we highly recommend renting this condo with Susan. It can't get any easier renting a condo in a paradise than what we just experienced. The fact that it was on the ground floor was awesome in that we didn't have to walk stairs in the heat or take a skinny elevator up. When we go back, we will definitely rent this same condo again."

  • Fun getaway

"This condo is beautiful and very comfortable. It was perfect for our stay and very quiet. We only slept and showered there so we liked that this condo was tucked away near the back of the property. Being on the second floor, we could also keep the blinds open the whole time without anyone seeing in, unlike any of the properties on the lower levels or near the pool. We also found a little pathway, out back, that led to all the little eateries, away from the beach, owned by expats. You have to try the little Thai restaurant "Nice and Spicy". There is also a little market, near there, for beer, water, chips, etc. For pizza, you have to try Pizzerama. It is located within the Bananarama resort next door. It is awesome. We often took a water taxi to West End beach for lunch or dinner, as well. The "Rotisserie" was delicious for chicken and you have to try the fish balls at the "Lighthouse" restaurant. Raymond was our favorite water taxi driver. Ask for him if you can. Very important note: bring lots of $1, $5 and $10 bills. Make sure they are in excellent condition, no rips. They can NOT take any money which is torn. Also, the children love American bubble gum, so that is always fun to have for trade. As for dates of travel, I preferred the quiet time which started after Easter sunday. The Honduran mainlanders come to Roatan for their holiday the week, ending Easter sunday. It is one gigantic island party. Fun for a day but really loved the calmness afterwords. The scuba diving is awesome and snorkeling from the beach was well worth renting snorkel gear, the entire time. We even used a sea kayak and paddled to the end and then snorkeled all the way back, towing the kayak behind. So fun. For quick fun on the way back to the airport, check out the Iguana Farm. A little past the airport but worth the extra drive. Tiny little place with thousands of iguanas. You can feed them and touch them all you want. Roatan is a pretty place to visit. Infinity Bay resort is beautiful. Love the towel service too. Thanks for everything."

  • Awesome family vacation house!

"There are many things that made our time in Roatan awesome and at the top of that list is the Seagrove Retreat. The house was more than comfortable for our group of 6 adults and 1 child. You will find everything you need from towels to items in the kitchen to water gear like kayaks and snorkels. It was such a bonus to have the pool for relaxing and the washing machine made life easier. The home is situated up on the hillside taking full advantage of the breezes. The home's staff was beyond helpful and accommodating. Franklin and Junior made sure we were able to go to anywhere we wanted and arranged for us to have the freshest lobster and fish. Their recommendations for restaurants and activities were excellent. The owner, Paul, is extremely easy to deal with and a good Roatan resource as well (he suggested our fantastic dive guide Larry). We would like to come back to Roatan in the near future and would definitely want to stay at Seagrove Retreat again!"

  • Unforgettable family vacation

"We spent a memorable family vacation in Roatan, at Belvedere and Casanueva. The occasion was a special family reunion: three generations and family members coming from different Countries. We found this property to be the ideal solution for us. It was not easy to organize a vacation for a large group, each member had different expectations but the property managers were prompt and friendly in offering guidance and suggestions throughout the booking process and our stay. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. Personnel at the villas was always very friendly and willing to help. The two villas are absolutely stunning, clean, modern and comfortable providing privacy and relaxation ; the views fantastic, the location just perfect: only a few minute walk to the best sandy beach . The villas outdoor area with its lush, tropical garden surrounding the inviting panoramic pool, has an incredible sea view over the coast line ; there are plenty of comfortable loungers, two gazebos with armchairs, tables and chairs. Within walking distance, there are good restaurants and shops. It was just so pleasant to sleep with windows open and enjoy the heavenly Caribbean breeze blowing. The family enjoyed dining and BBQing outside on the outdoor kitchen by the pool as the sun set and also having breakfast in one of the several decks or gazebos. We had a wonderful, unforgettable vacation."
