  • Great Location in West Bay

"Casa De Paradise was very well described. It is in an excellent location in West Bay. One of the best rental kitchens that I have even been in, with good knives even! I cook a lot on our vacations and I was lacking nothing. The front deck overlooking the beach was amazing. My husband was in the hammock every day. The fruit truck came every few days and we were able to walk down to the docks early in the morning and buy fish from the locals. We used Mayan Divers as suggested from the owners and had a great diving experience that was VERY convenient. We would walk up the beach every day and check out nightly dinner specials. Don't miss the $15 2 tail lobster dinner at Beachers two doors down. Unless you want to go cruising the island, you don't need a car. If you do, we walked down to "The Mall" and rented from Yony for $50/day. We stocked up at the grocery store on the ride in front the airport. This was a very easy, convenient and relaxing vacation for us at this location. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating was because of the music from the resort next door. The people renting the other unit behind us did not hear it like we did, but we had to listen to the club music next door. If we would have been with a group of friends and drinking and chatting until 11pm, we would have thought nothing of it. However, we were ready for bed at 9p and our neighbors were not. Nice thing is that is stopped at 11pm on the dot each night. I did contact the owner regarding this and she responded very promptly and was concerned. However, each hotel and property is allowed to enjoy their music until 11pm. Like I said, I am sure that there are many vacationers that this would not even be an issue for. Tips or enjoying West Bay-1. Bring lots of small bills. You pay more when it is charged on your credit card and we tended to overpay for things because we did not have smaller bills. 2. Load a suitcase with some non-perishable food. They have the same things the US has in their stores, but so much more expensive. 3. Get it in your mind that you WILL get a massage! $20 for a 40 minute massage on the beach should not be passed up and get at least one or two while you are there! Casa de Paradise was a great place to be!"

  • What an amazing place!

"My family had an amazing time in Roatan at Infinity Bay Resort. The condo we had was by far the best out of the 6 that my group rented. We had 19 people total with us. We had plenty of everything you may need to feel right at home. The best part of our condo wilas the kitchen was stocked. The staff and locals are very friendly and welcoming. We felt like we were part of a big family while we were there. We will be back again as soon as possible."

  • Easily best overall value on Roatan

"As a seasoned vacationer to Roatan and West Bay, I have to believe it's hard to beat this value. The home itself is beautifully laid out, appointed and maintained. Hardwood floors throughout, super comfortable beds, and a fully screened in wraparound deck (best feature in my opinion). It's a short walk or gas powered golf cart ride to the best beach in Roatan. The bedrooms are each roomy with their own island charm. For anyone who's accustomed to traveling to more 'developed' tropical destinations there are a couple things to keep in mind. First, the power goes out regularly in Roatan. Second, it's nice to stay on the beach, but at this price, plan to live with half the space. This place is a 2 minute walk from the best beach on the island. We were warmly greeted by a couple who claimed to be the new property managers. Later they became acquaintances and we were thrilled to have them as local friends. This is a great place and an awesome value!"

  • Far Tortuga…paradise!

"This house is simply perfect! I am so glad the owners share their little slice of paradise! It is perfectly situated in the middle of the island of Roatan with a grocery store nearby to prepare great meals in the awesome kitchen with views that don’t quit. There are also great restaurants nearby if you don’t feel like cooking. The buoy out front is a dive spot for the island businesses that you get to enjoy at your leisure. We snorkeled twice a day from the dock and were amazed by the beauty. The property is managed by a superb local company, Blue Reef, who are at your disposal for anything you may need. If you are looking for peace and quiet and a vacation you’ll never forget, choose Far Tortuga. Prepare yourself to never want to leave!!"
