Great House, Great Price, Great People!!!
"We visited Roatan from 7/31 to 8/12. We had originally booked another property but Roatan Property Mgmt told us the pool would be closed for renovations. I asked if they had another property with pool and almost immediately they offered us the Big Dolphin House. They were great to work with, everything went smooth and this property is beautiful!!!. We were close to the tourist part of Roatan but not close enough to be disturbed by the noise. Miguel, the caretaker, and his family are great people, very nice and they keep the property clean at all times. He's always cleaning the pool. The pool is great, our girls (7 and 5) loved it!! The house was very comfortable, It had everything we needed. Roatan Property Mgmt even provided drinking water for us for our entire stay, the house had supplies already (toilet paper, etc). Very well equipped. The AC worked great but it's only in the bedrooms and living room, so sometime the hall upstairs is hotter than other parts in the house. The only thing we didnt like was the fact that there's no balcony to the sliding windows surrounding the living room, so with little kids you have to be careful, but it was not a problem. We just keep them closed and turn on the AC at night. The property is right off the beautiful beach, the views are just breath taking. We would definitely stay here again!!!"

"A very nice place!!!.. Pirates view is everything you see in the pictures and much more!!!.. This was the first time for our family to rent a house in Roatan so we were not quite sure what to expect, but we could not be more pleased with the choice we made. This house was everything we hoped it would be. It is spacious, clean and complete. We were ten adults and we were all very comfortable. We stayed at Pirates View for a week and it was amazing!!!. The outdoor decks on the second and third level are the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. You can go swimming, snorkeling or kayaking without having to go far...everything you need is in the garage for you to use!!!... The house is only a few minutes away from everything: restaurants, supermarket, gas station, etc. Although taxis are available everywhere, the best thing is to rent a car, especially if you want to explore the island, which is a must. Well...there is not enough I could say about this place. Claire, Kevin and Desiree were at the airport to meet us and escort us to the house. They are wonderful and very helpful. thanks Claire!!!... I will definitely look you up next time I go back to Roatan :)"

"Lovely location with short walkable beach and pool, yes the pool is really nice even with you're at the beach. Best snorkeling I have ever seen, healthiest coral a short swim out from pier, great pier on the ocean. Accomodations comfortable, basic, best thing was our host who made sure we had lots of ideas where to go and could call anytime, very available."

"We stayed in an upstairs apartment--two bedrooms with two baths, living room, kitchen and porch. The balcony overlooks the white-sand beach with coconut trees and the ocean--stunning! The apartment was open and breezy and only got a little warm during the day. We slept very well. Everything was clean and well-stocked. Don, the on-site manager, had Marvin, his assistant, pick us up from the ferry dock, so arriving was easy, and Marvin also took us back when we left. They also got out the kayaks and life vests for us, which could use whenever we wanted. (They also have some windsurf and small sailboats that you might be able to use if you know how to set them up.) We took the hammocks to the dock where we hung out a lot and met nice families from the resort next door who were also into snorkeling (they said the reef in front of this area is the best around, but you have to swim 10 minutes to get there).
It's a ten-minute bus ride to the supermarket in Coxen Hole for groceries, and a 20-minute ride to West End, so you have easy access to everything without being around many people. For the most part we were alone, so it's a great place if you want some solitude.
I will definitely go back here when I have a chance. I loved everything about it, but especially the fact that we had this beautiful place, the kayaks and the docks, practically to ourselves, almost as if it were our own home!"
