"This is a 1 bed 2 bath unit with a washer and dryer. The room is a great size with a king size bed and a equip kitchen which was great for cooking breakfast and lunch. The condo is in the second floor of the 13 th building nears the shallow end of the pool. A one minute walk to the beach and to the best snorkeling on the island. The resort is great with a giant pool and lots of activities."

"This could easily have been a five star rating. We were looking for a top floor unit with roof top pool. There were none available on VRBO for the two weeks we needed. Barbara was very helpful and found us one that wasn't listed. Unfortunately, when we got there we saw that it was not as well maintained as the other units. We were hit with a bad odor, there was still garbage under the sink and because of it the unit was filled with hundreds of tiny flies (gnats or fruit flies). Housekeeping came up and dumped the garbage but the flies were still everywhere. The next morning the kitchen was sprayed and a can of Hotspot was left for us. After a few days of spraying we were able to get the insects down to nothing.
The villa is very nicely furnished and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. We did have difficulty with the WIFI and the signal for the living rooms TV. Victor, the on site manager, was awesome. He was able to hook us up to the Villa router and fix the TV signal connection. It took a few days to work out all the kinks. Also we had two short power outages. No big deal but the router needs to be reset after each. Since it's in the laundry room which is looked, once again we had to get Victor to come to our rescue.
Also the water pressure was very low. The roof top pool was disappointing, also neglected
We loved the location. Very private but a short walk to West Bay Beach. It is up and down a rather steep hill, so the walk is not for the faint at heart.
There is still construction going on. If you are sensitive to noise, you may want to check on the status of the work going on. We didn't mind the work.
The beach area was very nice but it is not really swimmable if you are planning to bring kids. The lava rock, seagrass and coral are very shallow. However, the snorkeling is amazing. If you carefully follow the path out to deeper water you can easily get to the reef. It is spectacular.
The pool area is lovely and we met several warm, welcoming folks there.
We loved going to JavaVine, the Hangover Hut, Vintage Pearl, Argentina Grill, Celeste and BoHo.
We did a lot of Scuba diving with West Bay Divers. They are outstanding.
We did get bitten up pretty bad, but learned that Nurse Andre's 2 in one bug repellant is awesome. Also if you put a heavy layer of coconut oil on your feet, ankles and lower legs, the sand flees get stuck and cannot bite.
All in all we had a wonderful trip and would go back again."

"This was my second visit to Roatan/Infinity Bay but my first time booking directly through a villa owner. I was very hesitant but Rick was more than willing to answer all my questions and keep the communication lines open for me, which was invaluable in making the decision to rent this villa for a week for myself, family and friends. I am very grateful for a pleasent transaction because with the rising prices at Infinity, we wouldn't have been able to afford booking through the hotel. Top marks for the owner! He also recommended a certain scuba dive shop that we tried out and loved, for over a dozen dives. The location is unmatched for food and entertainment, but if you want groceries, you NEED to go inland... The closest convenience store charges $7 for a bag of chips.
The room was clean, had updated appliances, great air conditioning, and was stocked with everything from pots and pans to wine glasses.
Unfortunately, having stayed at Infinity four years ago, we did notice a decrease in their customer service. I could give several examples but none of them are the fault of the owner, so I won't elaborate, but it does deserve a mention. The elevator also didn't work for our entire stay.
Infinity Bay is still one of the best resorts available and the location is really phenomenal, as far as beaches and beach restaurants go, as well as being steps away from "water taxis" that will take you to West End for more restaurants and nightlife for $8 round trip. The location of this particular villa is in a very quiet section of the resort as well. I would encourage anyone to deal with this couple--they have integrity and also enjoy Roatan themselves which means they're sincerely interested in your satisfaction as well."

"My family just returned from a stay at Infinity Bay. We loved the resort and the rental. Both the rental and resort were very beautiful and clean. The people were very friendly. Free parking for our rental car. (A car is not needed. We wanted to explore more of the island.) Steve, the owner, was very helpful. It was a pleasure to rent through Steve. Walking distance to all the restaurants/bars. If you want to go to the West End, the boat taxi is right out front. The amazing reef is only a few feet away. We look forward to staying again in Roatan."
