  • Fun getaway

"This condo is beautiful and very comfortable. It was perfect for our stay and very quiet. We only slept and showered there so we liked that this condo was tucked away near the back of the property. Being on the second floor, we could also keep the blinds open the whole time without anyone seeing in, unlike any of the properties on the lower levels or near the pool. We also found a little pathway, out back, that led to all the little eateries, away from the beach, owned by expats. You have to try the little Thai restaurant "Nice and Spicy". There is also a little market, near there, for beer, water, chips, etc. For pizza, you have to try Pizzerama. It is located within the Bananarama resort next door. It is awesome. We often took a water taxi to West End beach for lunch or dinner, as well. The "Rotisserie" was delicious for chicken and you have to try the fish balls at the "Lighthouse" restaurant. Raymond was our favorite water taxi driver. Ask for him if you can. Very important note: bring lots of $1, $5 and $10 bills. Make sure they are in excellent condition, no rips. They can NOT take any money which is torn. Also, the children love American bubble gum, so that is always fun to have for trade. As for dates of travel, I preferred the quiet time which started after Easter sunday. The Honduran mainlanders come to Roatan for their holiday the week, ending Easter sunday. It is one gigantic island party. Fun for a day but really loved the calmness afterwords. The scuba diving is awesome and snorkeling from the beach was well worth renting snorkel gear, the entire time. We even used a sea kayak and paddled to the end and then snorkeled all the way back, towing the kayak behind. So fun. For quick fun on the way back to the airport, check out the Iguana Farm. A little past the airport but worth the extra drive. Tiny little place with thousands of iguanas. You can feed them and touch them all you want. Roatan is a pretty place to visit. Infinity Bay resort is beautiful. Love the towel service too. Thanks for everything."

  • Exquisite

"We just departed on the 4th after an extraordinary week in which my wife and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary and enjoyed the marvels of this home with our two children, diving the reef, and exploring the forest. Phil and his excellent staff are at your beckon call for any queries or fabulous dining. The home is stunning and makes to most of the ocean views and starlit skies. The small villages nearby can be walked to easily for a genuine taste of Caribbean life. A boat trip out to the tinier islands (just patches of sand with fringing reef and a few trees) to the east is must. The 4 wheel drive is essential on the Roatan roads and a real benefit of the rental. The diving opportunities are truly fantastic and the entire island of Roatan is surrounded by the full spectrum of coral and sea-life varieties. If you don't dive, this is the place to learn. Sun divers on Half Moon Bay were first rate. We never return to the same spot, but will certainly never forget the wonderful week we spent here."

  • Mike & Leanne Oregon, USA

"Our first time to Roatan & we loved our stay. Our condo was very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. It is located on the quiet end of the resort and we enjoyed peaceful early mornings and evenings out on the balcony. Julie made it so easy for us by answering all our questions and additionally giving us lots of info on activities and places to eat. She is a wealth of knowledge concerning the island and quick to respond to questions you might have. The resort is beautiful and well kept with plenty of places to lay by the pool or lounge on the beach. The staff is especially friendly and helpful and quick to respond if we needed anything. My husband used Infinity Divers at the resort and thought they were fantastic. The snorkeling in front of resort was excellent also. We enjoyed it so much that we will be coming back!! Thank you again Julie!"

  • Beautiful setting in the middle of an island paradise

"My girlfriend and I recently stayed in the Parrot Tree Studio. It had absolutely everything we desired for our vacation. The studio functioned perfectly with a nice kitchen to cook our meals and a beautiful jungle setting patio where we could relax and enjoy the meal. Villa Del Fin itself was only a 5 minute walk or so down to the beautiful secluded beaches in between West Bay and West End. Walking to either of these popular destination spots was only a quick 15-20 minute walk away. It was a relief to get some exercise and have peaceful walks along the beautiful sandy coastline beaches of Roatan. However, it does get a little rocky as you walk towards West End. Carleen and Marlin were great hosts. They were willing to help or provide advice with anything they could. They have a gorgeous property on an amazing island paradise. I would highly recommend staying in the Parrot Tree Studio. Considering our budget we could have not done any better. It allowed us to appreciate many other parts of the island and water activities. Its location was far enough away from the hustle and bustle to stay quiet, but also close enough to find with a quick walk. Thanks for the hospitality Carleen and Marlin!"
