  • Excellent Condo at Infinity Bay

"This was our first visit to Roatan and we were glad that we were able to get this lovely condo at Infinity Bay for the 8 days that we were there. The condo was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed sitting out on the large balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. The resort staff and other people we encountered on the island were also very friendly. The information that we received from the owner was very helpful in deciding where to eat and what to do on the island. We really enjoyed eating at the Roatan Oasis, the Iron Shore Bar and Grill and Fosters. The South Shore Zip-Line Adventure was a lot of fun and the staff there were very entertaining and helpful. The snorkeling just off the beach in front of the resort was amazing. We can't wait to return to the island and especially this condo at Infinity Bay."

  • The Epic Honeymoon

"We were directly on the beach with a perfect long dock for enjoying sunrises and our times with our new friends, the other guests. I cannot speak highly enough about the owners. Our bed was decorated in heart-shaped rose petals when we arrived. They all welcomed us. We spent time out on the dock with some of the friendliest and just happiest people. We went out there in the mornings drinking coffee and talking about our days and what everyone had planned. People gave us rides and helped us with cabs and get to know the area. Folks were VERY generous. We all watched the sunsets together and went out to dinner a few times. I cannot say enough about the amazing people that stay there. Don was perfect and took care of anything. A piece of the blender broke and I let him know before I left for lunch. There was a brand new blender in our room when we got back an hour later! We think Don is just a really kind man and a huge help for us. We had fast access to Coxen Hole and West End. Owners Bob and Debi and Bill and Phyllis are now dear friends to us and they were what made our honeymoon so perfect. The amenities were very nice, and the bed was very confortable. There were no bugs and there very very few dogs barking. Simply put, it was the honeymoon we dreamed of and this peaceful, tranquil location filled with natural beauty and awesome people made it all work. Thank you to everyone at the Sea Dancer. You will see us again!"

  • Heaven with sand

"This was our fourth stay at Sunset house and I wanted to stay.....forever. What a GREAT time!! I loved sitting on the porch, in the hammocks or on the dock. If the sun was too bright at sunset just close the curtains, you can still see through them and enjoy beach without the blinding sun. The house is so comfortable with king size beds; clean sheets the ability to do laundry on site, the full size kitchen, all the comforts of home including AC. We stopped at the grocery store when we arrived and bought enough food for our stay. We did plan on eating out and were not disappointed with the selection of restaurants and they employ the nicest wait staff. The Thai restaurant was my favorite. The chicken dishes tasted so fresh and cooked to perfection. I had many of the chicken dishes along with the vegetables (many locally grown) but I still ate healthy. The fresh fish, shrimp never get old and are prepared by cooks who know how to cook. The breakfast burritos where the best ever. I had lots of exercise between the swimming, snorkeling, renting the sail boat, using the various floatation devices (water saddle was my favorite) and just walking. The horseshoe pits are a nice addition and we would have played more but there was just so much to do. I would be remiss not to mention the sunsets, we sat out on the dock many a night just waiting for the sun to set so we could take pictures and admire Gods handy work. The way the moon lays in the sky is at such a different angle than at home. Yonny (the caretaker) was very helpful, he set us up with a fishing trip and we shared the fish with him. The MahiMahi was delicious. The various native birds delight me every time. We had TV but didn't bother watching it, the internet for checking emails, books to read and board games to play. The bar and BBQ on the beach are great you don't have to upstairs to have dinner and a drink. Taking a shower before even coming upstairs was a nice amenity. Be sure to dip your feet in the water dish before coming inside to keep those pesky sand fleas off your feet and out of the house. Mark has done a wonderful job at making this place not only a home away from home but a home to back to."

  • Paradise!

"If you like your bed made daily, cabana boys to bring you drinks, fine dining, and mingling with tourist, DO not go here as you will be completely disappointed. If you don't need any of the above, book now! For our 25th anniversary, I tried to find a place that was quite, off the beaten path, secluded and private & affordable! Toucan Blue checked every box. This place is truly the epitome of paradise. Palm trees, fresh coconuts, humming birds, parrots and song birds, lizards, sunsets that will take your breath away, sunrises that will wake you up, tin roof that will make you yearn for a little rain at night, fresh conch and lobster from the old man in the dugout canoe, local dinning that is superb and affordable...... Lynda was very responsive from the day I sent for information to Liz, the island property manager who emailed answers to every question we had. Liz met us at the airport in our rented Isuzu trooper(rent from Lynda!!! You will see why) and took us to Eldons to get groceries. What an experience. We are truly spoiled in the USA! Also stopped off at the gourmet store for a few things like steak and rum. Driving to the house, prepare for a drop off the main road down a gravel, steep road to the bottom. Then onto the wooden road across the mangroves to the compound. Wow! Daniel or Wilfred will greet you. They are the on-site "security guards". Not sure what they are guarding but they live under the palm trees for three days at a time. Every morning, you wake up and the entire property is raked and. Nothing but sand remains. Caution- apply bug spray every day frequently! We read it and followed the "RULE" and had no problems. We saw some tourist on a trip to West Bay who didn't follow the RULE and will pay the price with bad bites. Snorkeling off the reef at the house was unbelievable. Clear, calm, fish, coral, etc! Kayaking was very cool. Kind of like being in a huge swimming pool. We never turned the air condition on. Slept with window and blinds open every night with fan on. Breakfast on the upper deck, fishing, port royal beer, siesta and off to McNabbs in Jonesville or Cals cantina or Camp Bay resort for lunch. Cooked on the grill every night. We were told to be off the roads by dark. There are no street lights so we heeded the advice. We sunned on the pier to avoid the no seeum bugs and would advice you to do this as well. The palapa was a perfect sunset spot. Bring water shoes! Enjoy"
