  • Great Condo!

"This was our first stay at Infinity Bay. Tony's condo is perfect! The condo is far enough from the pool so there wasn't a lot of noise. It's a very short walk to the beach from the condo. I would definitely recommend Tony's condo, he always answered any questions we had, and was quick to respond to emails. The condo is exactly like the pictures, and there are enough kitchen utensils to cook about anything you would like. The only recommendation I would give to the unit is to add some tongs to the kitchen utensils. The snorkeling right in front of Infinity Bay is amazing! It's is the best snorkeling we found on the island. We did rent a car for 2 days so we explored parts of the island. In my opinion, I thought Infinity Bay had the clearest water and the best snorkeling which is one of the things my husband and I look for on a vacation. We did 2 shore dives with Infinity Bay, and the staff at the dive shop were very helpful. Thank you Jose for finding our camera!! I hope to stay at Tony's condo again in 2015! This place is amazing if you like to snorkel, and there are plenty of other restaurants and bars within walking distance along the beach."

  • Loved Bayside Hideaway

"My husband and I went to Roatan with our daughter(23) and a friend for one week. We loved staying at Bayside Hideaway and would go back in a second. The "private" beach was lovely. It was easy to rent kayaks from Las Rocas next door. The snorkeling was good and even better just walking 10 mins down the beach. We commented all the time how lucky we were to get the best place around(we had never been to Roatan before). We will go back and would recommend to anyone. Absolutely the best location of any place around. We liked being 5 minutes(walking) away from the busier west bay beach but close enough to take advantage of all the restaurants and grocery and beautiful beach with snorkeling and paddle boarding."

  • So peaceful!

"We typically prefer to be right on the beach when we vacation. We weren't sure at first how we would like being off the beach even though it was close. Turns out that we loved it! This is Roatan's high season, and the beach was often crowded. It was so nice to walk just a few steps and feel the peace and quiet. Yes, the houses are close to each other, but we loved the atmosphere. There are so many trees, you don't realize how close you are to Infinity Bay, the busy beach (when several ships were in), or even the other houses. If you look at West Bay Village from a Google map, you'll see what I mean. The houses are hard to see from above because of the trees. The house was very nice. We especially loved the large shower in the guest room. We used it instead of the master bath. The managers were very easy to work with and were eager to help us with anything we needed. This was our third time to Roatan, so we didn't feel the need to leave West Bay to explore. We very much enjoyed a week of rest, relaxation, snorkeling, floating in the water until sunset, and eating at our favorite place (Foster's)."

  • Nice tropical place to visit

"We just got back. The condo was very nice to stay in. The kitchen was capable to cook up meals (bring your own spices, sugar and salt; nothing is there) , the bed was very comfortable, the internet was quick, the resort was nice. If you are going to do a lot of cooking take a taxi to the Aldons ($30) to get stocked up. If your just going to do the basics the strip mall grocery store within walking distance will suffice. (just don't buy the pudding it was spoiled) The store also has a nice breakfast, was kind of interesting eating breakfast in the middle of a grocery store. We bought bread, peanut butter, jelly, pop, liquor and snacks from them. We used the dive shop at the resort for shore dives every day, $22 a dive. It was nice to be able to dive on your own and see and go on your own pace. There is two reefs, one at about 15 to 20 feet deep about 75 yards out and then about 50 yards of sand (look for flounders and rays here) and then a reef at about 30ft that goes down to about 80ft. We seen green eels, turtles, scorpion fish, lion fish (didn't have a spear), shark, starfish, lobsters and a ton of various fish including large grouper. We did not do a boat dive, we enjoyed the shore diving so much. We ate at the numerous restaurants along the beach every night. Each displays their specials on a sign as a you walk by. Happy hour from 4p to 7p everynight. There was live music or movies on the beach to keep you entertained. At the restaurant "bite on the beach" which is on the water, they have large green eels you can see while eating dinner. The best entertainment was the beautiful sunsets every night. Talking about food, "banana donut", is a saying every visitor will recognize, he was even at the airport when we were leaving. The pool was nice to lay around during the day, so was the beach, don't forget the sunscreen. The bugs never bothered us. The shuttle from the airport and back was a nice option. We only ate breakfast one day at the resort. It was good but expensive. We took several walks in the area, hilly and hot but very nice views. Most of the time the beach was quite quiet and relaxing. It got busy a few days for a few hours when the cruise passengers showed up but it was not overwhelming. The evenings were always quiet. We would stay here again. This beach area ranks up at the top of my list, especially if you like to shore dive."
