  • Exquisite

"We just departed on the 4th after an extraordinary week in which my wife and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary and enjoyed the marvels of this home with our two children, diving the reef, and exploring the forest. Phil and his excellent staff are at your beckon call for any queries or fabulous dining. The home is stunning and makes to most of the ocean views and starlit skies. The small villages nearby can be walked to easily for a genuine taste of Caribbean life. A boat trip out to the tinier islands (just patches of sand with fringing reef and a few trees) to the east is must. The 4 wheel drive is essential on the Roatan roads and a real benefit of the rental. The diving opportunities are truly fantastic and the entire island of Roatan is surrounded by the full spectrum of coral and sea-life varieties. If you don't dive, this is the place to learn. Sun divers on Half Moon Bay were first rate. We never return to the same spot, but will certainly never forget the wonderful week we spent here."

  • Perfect Location for peaceful getaway

"Being our first trip to Roatan and wanting a quiet place to relax we couldn't have asked for a better place. Bayside is just off West Bay Beach with it's own little private beach all to yourself. On an average day we might of seen maybe 10-15 people but just a 5 minute walk past Los Rocas and you were in the heart of West Bay were all the restaurants bars and nightlife are. The food was amazing and extremely affordable. We especially enjoyed Beacher's, The Vintage Pearl and the Restaurant at Infinty Bay (amazing sushi). Definitely take a water taxi to West End and Explore the shops and Restaurants there as well. The condo itself has everything you need. The staff was extremely helpful in getting us settled in and Jensen our driver was excellent. He waited while we grocery shopped for some of the basics and answered all the questions we had on our drive from the airport. We took on snorkel trip with Capt. Ray ( you can usually find him in front of Foster's on West Bay Beach). He took us out all day snorkeling with a stop at Pigeon Cay for a Steak and Lobster dinner cooked right on the beach. All in all an amazing trip and wonderful location and condo. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from it all yet have all the tourist attractions just minutes away. Can't wait to go back next time."

  • Great Location in West Bay

"Casa De Paradise was very well described. It is in an excellent location in West Bay. One of the best rental kitchens that I have even been in, with good knives even! I cook a lot on our vacations and I was lacking nothing. The front deck overlooking the beach was amazing. My husband was in the hammock every day. The fruit truck came every few days and we were able to walk down to the docks early in the morning and buy fish from the locals. We used Mayan Divers as suggested from the owners and had a great diving experience that was VERY convenient. We would walk up the beach every day and check out nightly dinner specials. Don't miss the $15 2 tail lobster dinner at Beachers two doors down. Unless you want to go cruising the island, you don't need a car. If you do, we walked down to "The Mall" and rented from Yony for $50/day. We stocked up at the grocery store on the ride in front the airport. This was a very easy, convenient and relaxing vacation for us at this location. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating was because of the music from the resort next door. The people renting the other unit behind us did not hear it like we did, but we had to listen to the club music next door. If we would have been with a group of friends and drinking and chatting until 11pm, we would have thought nothing of it. However, we were ready for bed at 9p and our neighbors were not. Nice thing is that is stopped at 11pm on the dot each night. I did contact the owner regarding this and she responded very promptly and was concerned. However, each hotel and property is allowed to enjoy their music until 11pm. Like I said, I am sure that there are many vacationers that this would not even be an issue for. Tips or enjoying West Bay-1. Bring lots of small bills. You pay more when it is charged on your credit card and we tended to overpay for things because we did not have smaller bills. 2. Load a suitcase with some non-perishable food. They have the same things the US has in their stores, but so much more expensive. 3. Get it in your mind that you WILL get a massage! $20 for a 40 minute massage on the beach should not be passed up and get at least one or two while you are there! Casa de Paradise was a great place to be!"

  • Amazing!

"Tony and Jo made our trip a very special and unique experience! They are simply fantastic people, and as hosts, they went above and beyond. From helping with the local transportation arrangements, to site seeing recommendations, dining recommendations, and friendly conversation about the island, etc. It was like getting picked up at the airport by old friends. The Gardens was very comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was far enough away from the bars to be peaceful, but close enough to walk down to the main street without any trouble. I also found it very cool to be positioned where there were several different routes to take on my daily commute to UDC. Also going to put a plug in for Charolette's place for breakfast, which is just down the street. It was awesome! Thank you guys very much, and we hope to see you again soon!"
