"We had 2 1/2 wonderful weeks at Sea Pool Villas and want to thank Brigitta and Jaw for that incredible time. Both were present whenever we needed something or had a question. Even in beforehand, long before the trip started the communication was very deep and we got many interesting information about where to go, what to do and (very important) that we should rent a 4WD because of the many dirt roads on Roatan.
The villa itself, the whole ground and especially the sea pool with the palapas was beyond our expectations and the pictures never can show the real loveliness. Jaw brought us fresh friut directly from the garden whenever there was something ripe. In the garden there are so many flowers, the colours of the blossoms, the varieties of green (garden) and blue (sea) are just breathtaking. On some evenings you could see fireflies in the garden and one could have the impression of fireworks, it was so many - just unforgettable. The corals and fish you could see when entering the sea directly at the sea pool where so magnificent, we even saw some lion fish (we are just snorkling).
We also didn't expect such a comfortable climate with rather low humidity and mostly a calm wind.
The restaurants we can recommend mostly are Cal's (which is just 5 minutes away and has a great athmosphere and of course great food), La Sirena (at Camp Bay, incredible location over the water) and Gio's (at French Harbour, the King Crab is just fantastic).
We would highly recommend thos domicile to everyone seeking a relaxing holiday with utmost privacy and a private direct access to the carribean sea.
We are traveling around the world since more than 20 years and never had hosts like Brigitta and Jaw - thank you so much for that wonderful time!"

Quite little piece of Heaven with everything you need within walking distance!
"Everything was just perfect for us! We like to be away from the hustle and bustle. Sandy Bay is more residents than tourist. If you prefer night life, parties etc- then head or stay on West Bay/End. Snorkeling is amazing right our front, no need to hire anyone. Defiantly do a few dives with local dive shops. Theres 2 within walking distance, both good. (deep sea fishing and dives are literally a 3 min boat ride out) Good food/restaurants & spa a few steps down beach. Only place I really recommend you take a taxi or have Channin take you is to Little French Key. Just the pictures of that place are worth it! People who saw my pictures thought I was in a pool & not the ocean ! Daniel Johnsons zoo is a must. Trust me. =) The beds were comfortable. Everything you need in the house. We never needed to turn on AC. Safety is not an issue. I honestly think Roatan gets a bad rap because of the mainland of Honduras. There is a monitored alarm system ..if you do feel uneasy in another country. Plus Jimmy is usually on the grounds during the day- he helps maintain all the lush landscaping. Tip: Go no where without your camera- every time I did, I missed getting a picture of something Ive never seen before! Channin & Kimberly are the property managers, and he can take you on tours and anywhere you want to go. Suzanne was helpful with a smooth transaction and helpful info. Great people! Oh, and just about everyone speaks english on the island so there is no language barrier."

"I travel to the island twice a year and I always have a great time at Rainbows Breeze. Its nice to have a full kitchen with full sized appliances when you're staying for a few weeks at a time. Its also wonderful to have a porch with a table and hammock to relax on and the beach only a couple hundred meters away. The dogs are wonderful (I always miss mine when I'm away from home, so its nice to have some furry friends to greet me when I get back to the apartment in the afternoon) and there are plenty of birds to watch (Carib Grackles, woodpeckers, and hummingbirds) in the yard. A very good place to stay for someone who wants to see the whole island, not just the inside of a resort. Good resturants, a grocery, and a gas station are nearby, and because its centrally located on the island you can get the full experience from Camp Bay to West End."

"We just returned from a week in beautiful Roatan! This house is off the beaten path, which isn't often mentioned in reviews. You will find a private beach, as well as a bar, all within walking distance! The caretaker Pichi was beyond awesome! This guy will do anything he can to help - day or night - it was like having our own personal concierge! From taking us out snorkeling on his boat, taking us grocery shopping, serving as a tour guide and transportation specialist, Pichi is truly a top-notch caretaker! One thing to keep in mind is that you are in fact in the jungle and yes, there will be bugs! We found that Sawyer bug repellents are the best out there! Rocky and Rambo, the two resident perros, are more than welcoming of all guests! We never had to turn on the a/c units, but the layout of the house is very open and airy and it kept the house quite cool at night. We recommend buying a couple bags of ice to put in the freezer for chilled drinks, but buying bottled water wasn't necessary as Pichi kept plenty of 5 gallon water jugs available for the water dispenser. While we were in Roatan, Pichi acquired a van and he offers his transportation services at a rate lower than the other companies on the island with a driver you know and trust! We rented a scooter and a motorcycle for the week from Captain Van's on West End, and we highly recommend doing the same! In our opinion, it is the best way to see the island and we didn't find any place that the scooter couldn't go!
There is no better feeling than falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean and in Roatan, there is no better place to experience that than this property!"
