"This is a super cool escape that comes with a boat a boat driver and scuba shop literally next door. We had the main house and two rooms in the back house. We had a ball sitting on deck, walking the island, exploring Routan, and snorkeling behind the house and a short boat ride to unbelievable snorkeling. We caught buckets of fish and fresh lobsters were brought to the house still alive!!"

"We just returned from our trip to Roatan and our stay at the Pink Orchid. We were very pleased with our trip and the ease of dealing with the owners, on site staff and local residents. The owners were very informative and easy to contact prior to our trip and the house is exactly (or better) as described on the website. Location is fantastic with an easy walk either way down the beach to the West End community or West Bay Beach for shopping, dining and entertainment. We went with our two teenage children and another couple and the house was perfect for 6 people. Snorkeling and floating right from the dock was great and the kayak trips to the reef for snorkeling (a very short paddle) were off the hook! We saw sea turtles, a moray eel and several barracuda as well as many beautiful reef fish. The local contacts were really good and we had a local chef come prepare and island feast at the Pink Orchid one evening. We caught tuna on a fishing trip right outside the reef in front of the house and went zip lining one day through the jungle very close to the house. Water taxis were readily available right from the dock and it never took more than a few minutes to flag one down. All in all a fantastic trip for our family. I also think that we should report that the ladies on our trip walked by themselves during the day to both the West End community and West Bay and never felt uncomfortable or threatened during these ventures. It seemed much safer than some of the other locations in Central America / Caribbean region we researched. We did heed the owners advice and stay off the beaches after dark."

"This property was a perfect fit for us and we commented throughout our stay about how perfect the location and the house were. We stayed in the St Mac's Upper House and it was our first trip to Roatan. We are a family of 4 traveling with my parents and the layout was awesome. The kids had their own room and both couples had spacious rooms with king sized beds. The light in the upstairs living room is remarkable and you can see the ocean and the beach activity at all times. The beach is just steps away or you can sit on the porch upstairs in a hammock relaxing and watching everything. The property managers were so lovely and helpful. The house was clean and well cared for. I had done a LOT of research before ultimately booking this house and we could not have asked for a better location. The hospitality was also above and beyond as the home owner worked with us for early check-in due to our early flight, which was so deeply appreciated since we had the little kids in tow and wanted to buy food on the way to the house. The kids loved walking down to the ocean and making a left and going to the end of the beach in front of the cliff and looking at the schools of fish. We enjoyed eating at the Grand Roatan a couple of times and at Beachers. Even though we were there during low season, there was no lack for things to do and everything was steps away from the house. If the beach got too busy from cruise ships, we just retreated to the porch and were just as happy. We will stay here again if we get the chance to go back!"

"This was our first trip to Roatan and we can't wait to go back! Beautiful barefoot beach with many dining options on the beach. My luggage was lost by the airline so I bought a bathing suit, coverup, flipflops (barely got any use), and an island dress. This was seriously all I needed! The best snorkling we've ever done just off the beach. I will suggest if you rent equipment, Infinity has a dive shop with good snorkel gear but keep it for the whole week. We returned ours the first day and wanted to rent again but they ran out of stock. Local boys run a water taxi called "Joy Ride" Davie and Quentin are super kind and fun! They took us on an island tour (from the water) and to a place to snorkel called Spooky Channel. This was the most awesome experience ever! Saw sea turtles and schools of fish in the 100's! So beautiful! Andrea's condo was perfect for 2! Nice and quiet in the back of the complex, completely out of earshot of the pool and bar. She was great to work with and answered our questions quickly. Infinity was the most luxurious condo's on the beach; great pool, great bar, great food. No need for all inclusive there are lots of fun places to eat and drink along the beach. My only other suggestion is to go for more than 1 week:)"
