  • Amazing Trip!

"This was my first time in Roatan and I really spent a wonderful time on the island with my family. Im a native of Honduras and I didnt know what amazing place is this. The condo in Infinity was really nice, everything was as expected and more, the bedrooms, kitchen, furnitures, everything was really in excellent condition. Kathy was really nice from the beginning and she really made the things easy. The customer service on Infinity was excellent, all the facilities were really well maintained. For sure I will come back to Roatan and of course I will stay at this condo."

  • Nice tropical place to visit

"We just got back. The condo was very nice to stay in. The kitchen was capable to cook up meals (bring your own spices, sugar and salt; nothing is there) , the bed was very comfortable, the internet was quick, the resort was nice. If you are going to do a lot of cooking take a taxi to the Aldons ($30) to get stocked up. If your just going to do the basics the strip mall grocery store within walking distance will suffice. (just don't buy the pudding it was spoiled) The store also has a nice breakfast, was kind of interesting eating breakfast in the middle of a grocery store. We bought bread, peanut butter, jelly, pop, liquor and snacks from them. We used the dive shop at the resort for shore dives every day, $22 a dive. It was nice to be able to dive on your own and see and go on your own pace. There is two reefs, one at about 15 to 20 feet deep about 75 yards out and then about 50 yards of sand (look for flounders and rays here) and then a reef at about 30ft that goes down to about 80ft. We seen green eels, turtles, scorpion fish, lion fish (didn't have a spear), shark, starfish, lobsters and a ton of various fish including large grouper. We did not do a boat dive, we enjoyed the shore diving so much. We ate at the numerous restaurants along the beach every night. Each displays their specials on a sign as a you walk by. Happy hour from 4p to 7p everynight. There was live music or movies on the beach to keep you entertained. At the restaurant "bite on the beach" which is on the water, they have large green eels you can see while eating dinner. The best entertainment was the beautiful sunsets every night. Talking about food, "banana donut", is a saying every visitor will recognize, he was even at the airport when we were leaving. The pool was nice to lay around during the day, so was the beach, don't forget the sunscreen. The bugs never bothered us. The shuttle from the airport and back was a nice option. We only ate breakfast one day at the resort. It was good but expensive. We took several walks in the area, hilly and hot but very nice views. Most of the time the beach was quite quiet and relaxing. It got busy a few days for a few hours when the cruise passengers showed up but it was not overwhelming. The evenings were always quiet. We would stay here again. This beach area ranks up at the top of my list, especially if you like to shore dive."

  • Awesome house

"We had such a great stay at the pink orchid house! It is a great location. Very secluded without being isolated. We could easily talk to west end and west bay beach but the house was so great we spent most of our time there. The snorkeling right off the dock and out at the reef was great. We even saw a nurse shark one day when we kayaked out to the reef and we saw an octopus on the rocks walking towards west end. The house was in great condition and had everything we could possibly need. Thanks for the great stay!"

  • Absolute perfect vacation week with friends!

"We had the extreme privilege of being able to stay here as a vacation and staff retreat. The house exceeded my expectations and truly was a week that we will never forget. It was even bigger than I envisioned through pictures and videos and perhaps it felt this way due to the wonderful open air feel to the rooms and space. You can tell that detail and thought went into every aspect of the construction and layout. The house was perfect for a large group as it provided sufficient communal space but also enough space to be alone. The kitchen was great for cooking large meals and big enough for there to be more than one cook in the kitchen. We enjoyed the family style layout with the kitchen, dining room and lounge area all somewhat connected in the same room. The pool was amazing and we definitely utilized that at any time of night or day! Liz and Ephraim made us feel welcome and secure which really allowed us to just focus on having a great time. The house is a bit removed from any of the larger towns on the island but that was just what we were looking for. It would be an honor to return again in the future!"

Honduras Travel Tips

Seasons to Visit Honduras Vacation Rentals

The climate in Honduras varies in the different regions. While it is generally tropical, the weather is cooler and more temperate in the higher mountain regions. Generally, you can wear lightweight cotton clothing all year long. You will need a good rain jacket especially if you are traveling in the wet season. Make sure that you also have one or two warmer items of clothing if you plan to visit the highlands. Typically, the wet season is from May to October. Tropical storms have been known to blow across from the Caribbean, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. The north coast is one of the most popular tourist regions; however, temperatures can get very hot and visitors are advised to use plenty of sunscreen and wear hats. The most popular travel season is during the drier months which are from November through April.
