"My husband and I spent a month at Villa Pavela . Half of that time was with another couple. The Villa was very comfortable with two bedrooms, both of which had air conditioning and two bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and the front veranda/dining area had comfortable seating as well as two hammocks where you could watch lovely sunsets in the evening .Remanso Beach was less than a two minute walk from the house:nice for beginning surfers or just cooling off between the rolling surf(not big waves at that time of year). San Juan del Sur was less than 10 minutes by car so you could go out to eat, shop at the mercado or the Pali grocery store or the fish market. A car is a must, as it did get hot during the day, so biking would be quite the excursion. Also a car would be useful for exploring other beaches and towns in a very friendly Nicaragua.
Wifi is available. There are brown outs (usually not for long)but the villa has a back up generator so that the wifi and fridge run.
Eliza is the caretaker and is very efficient-cleaning every day.Laundry service is also available through Eliza and is very reasonably priced. If you want to do your own bits and pieces, there is a long clothesline in the side hallway and with the wind blowing ,it isn't long before everything dries. Even if you cannot speak Spanish ,Eliza has a tablet so through translation program most things could be sorted out. She will also cook for you, if you arrange it with her(extra cost but very reasonable). The fish dinners were great.
The owners of the villa are most helpful and followup is very quick. We forgot my husband's e reader in Nicaragua and the owner graciously brought it back to Canada for us. Now that's hospitality!
All in all, everything is very comfortable-including the beds and very clean. My husband and I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Pavela for a long stay or short one-its like staying at a friend's place."

Beautiful Home, Great View & Staff and Excellent Owners
"Casa Miramar is truly a retreat full of beautiful views and amazing staff. The entire staff have amazing servant's hearts. The closeness to the city is a huge plus if you do not have a vehicle. The neighbors are friendly and respectful of your privacy. The house is well equipped with great appliances and of course the WiFi worked well especially for my teenage daughter. At last, we felt blessed by God staying at the Pattison's home. If you want to be blessed, you MUST stay at this home!"

"My husband and I stayed a month at Casa Anita and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Casa Anita was a perfect setting to experience Granada. The home itself is beautiful and the location could not have been better. We loved the fact that you can easily walk everywhere and the nearby market and grocery store was a real plus! The kitchen accomodated our desire to cook and we loved a dip in the pool to cool off in the afternoons.
The restaurants in Granada are terrific with our favorites being Pita Pita and The Garden Cafe. The nearby bus stop was great as we ventured to Masaya on the "chicken bus" several times during our stay. For those with extra time, a morning trip with La Esperanza, a local NGO, is an eye-opening experience and provides an insight into the needs of the rural folks.
We fell in love with this lovely town and Casa Anita provides a wonderful setting in which to enjoy the culture of Granada!"

"The house is beautiful with two great master bedrooms. The pool, balcony and patio below are all perfect for watching the surf at Colorados. The food was great and housekeeping kept the place really clean. There was a huge supply of filtered drinking water. Seth hooked us up with a few boat trips to some great reef breaks.
We will definitely be back to stay at the Wave Garden house."
