"Even better than the photos. Loved the house, pool, balconies, view. Enjoyed watching the sunsets and the bats. The daily cleaning was amazing and helpful. We used Bosco for transportation. He's good, although a bit insistent - which is harder for a group of introverts. We always felt safe and secure. Check out the morning yoga at the nearby chocolate mansion. The accompanying "instructions" for the property were great but I would have loved to have a map in the house and/or directions to some of the restaurants. Overall, an incredible property - beautiful with a very responsive and helpful owner. thanks!"

"We stayed at Xalteva for 3 nights and wished we staying longer. The condo was clean, spacious, air conditioned and beautifully furnished and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the pool with plenty of chairs and breakfast was great in the courtyard. The property is gated and has security guards. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Ernesto took care of our tours and taxis and was helpful with maps and directions. We would recommend asking for Giovanni if you need a taxi. Because of the location we enjoyed walking to see the local sights and dine is some great restaurants. We also had the good fortune of meeting the owner Jay. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return for a longer visit next time.

"My husband and I spent 4 days at La Alcoba in Granada. Overall it was a great experience. The breakfast at the adjoining Garden Cafe was fantastic! Really fresh food with great menu choices. The staff were friendly and the cafe was very quaint and clean. The center courtyard was relaxing to just sit and drink some excellent Nicaraguan coffee.
The room itself is very large with high, wooden ceilings. There is a mini fridge and a coffee maker with complimentary coffee....we used it every morning! Although the room is not air-conditioned, there are ceiling fans and the air circulation kept the place cool. Also, there was no hot water in the shower....again...not an issue as the water was never really "cold" and with the heat, you were refreshed to have a cool shower!
The only negative I have to note has to do with the location. It was both a blessing and a curse. It is very close to the Central Park of the city as well as the main thoroughfare....but because of that, it was noisy. There were cars, motorcycles, people, horse drawn carts going through the streets into the night. We tend to rise early and go to bed early so the level of activity right outside our door made this a bit challenging!
So overall an excellent choice for anyone wanting to check out all that Granada and the surrounding area has to offer."

"Stayed here for a week with a friend visiting some volunteer friends. This house is awesome - would absolutely recommend this home. It is close to lots of restaurants, pulperia (small store), hotels with pools. The home has excellent ventilation, a pool inside the home, kitchen with lots of amenities and the bedrooms have AC. We only needed to use the AC at night. The upstairs bedroom has a nice balcony that has an awesome view. Wifi was fantastic. The property manager was very helpful, the housekeeper was wonderful and the neighbors were also extremely friendly and helped us giving us some tips about the city. Taxis went by in the street frequently so if we didn't want to walk we could always grab a ride and this street felt very safe.
I would definitely return and stay longer!"
