  • Awesome vacation

"Definitely I highly recommend Casa Kaya for your vacations, we have the privilege of staying in this beautiful property on March 22 thru the 24 and my family and I have the best experience. Thank you Josue, Ofelia and Flor for making us feel like home."

  • True Escape

"La Quinta Lee was an amazing escape. I really did not want to leave. There were numerous spots to disappear into a great book. Several hammocks to relax in. We truly felt unplugged from the world around us. The lake was the perfect temperature for swimming and the open kitchen was inspiring to cook in. I spent three nights, but would have spent weeks if time permitted. I hope to be back at some point in the future."

  • Best Holiday ever! Exactly what we were looking for!

"This was the perfect destination for our family! We are a famliy of 5 with 3 very small kids. We were looking for a place that would be safe for the kids and this was it! The property is directly on an amazing putting green which no one uses so it felt like we had our own enormous personal backyard. Within a minutes walk we were at an amazing infinity pool which our kids swam in for about 3 hours a day. They learnt to swim on this holiday which was great! The food at pili's place directly on the beach by the pool was some of the best food we tasted while in Nicaragua. Ideal if you don't feel like cooking. Everything you need is within the complex of Hacienda Iguana so you never have to leave apart for the weekly shop to Rivas for groceries. We stayed here for a month and only left to get groceries. We also decided against hiring a car and we were pleased we did. When we needed to go for a shop we used the local taxi service and saved ourselves a lot of money. Once we were here we didn't want to leave! The condo itself was perfect! Great kitchen facilities, entertainment, comfy beds, AC, and decor! Some of our Family members asked us when we returned if one month was too long... our answer .....definitely not we just wish it could have been longer!!!"

  • The Great Escape!!

"Our stay at Casa La Serena was a true escape and complete juxstaposition from the energy that came from SJDS. The support from Gabby, Laura and Shayla coudln't have been more helpful, from answering our pre visit questions, to taking us for a tour of San Juan, to helping us get familar with the lay of the land. If you plan on staying at Balcones for a few days be sure to stock up bc the drive back to town can take time away from your planned R&R. If you enjoy fresh seafood be sure to pick up some from fish/shrimp/lobster etc from the fish market at the pier in town. At Casa La Serena you will be immersed in the sound of slience so be prepared to slow down, shift into neutral and enjoy alot of R&R. The howler monkeys will remind every morning not to sleep in too late and that as much as you may think you are alone you aren't. There is a little establishment called Matildas on the beach near by where you can purchase some cold refreshments and a freshly prepared lunch if you need to recharge, or just enjoy sun and sand (Dont expect a 5 star restaurant, but a true Nicaraguan experience!!) If you want to spoil yourselves even more than you have up to this point ask about purchasing a day pass to Morgans Rock. They have a great restaurant, infiniti pool overlooking the ocean, we had the beach to ourselves (although most beaches in Nica are often like that) They have handfull of tours you can book so check out what they have to offer. There wasnt much to complain about, all in all you cant control the nature that will surround you on your stay but isnt that why you are booking this place?!! to immerse yourself into a suspended state of relaxtion and to be one with nature!! (don't panic the scorpions aren't lethal)....In the end enjoy relaxing in the infinti pool with a cold Tona as you watch the Sun Set over the ocean..what more can you ask for..."
