"We enjoyed the property for two months during the rainy season of September and October. The rainstorms were short bursts which occurred mostly at night. Our small children ages 4 and 6 loved playing at the beach about 100 yards from the front door. The palm grove outside the house was also a nice shaded area. Mosquitos were a problem for our young children. We used repellent and bug nets during the night. This property classifies as adventure tourism. Expect power outages, an hour drive to a commercial area (Chinadega), and interaction with mother nature. The inconveniences were well worth the pleasant memories created for our family. We speak Spanish and enjoyed the many experiences of swimming, bogie boarding, canoeing, fishing, turtle preservation, Spanish study, and local friendships. We were able to do most of our food shopping locally. It took some effort to find out which house/truck sells what and when. I recommend the "water truck." It would fill our 5 gallon bottle for 10 Cordobas. We drank this water for two months without any illness. This home appeared to be one of the nicest rental/hotel along the Peninsula. We were cozy and dry during all weather with the benefits of a nice kitchen. It was situated on high ground closer to Padre Ramos. Other similar properties, closer to Jiquilillo, were flooded ankle deep with rain water. Many of the hostels closed for a few weeks to pump out flood water. We enjoyed the comforts of our 4x4 truck to make day trips. We also used the chicken bus on occasion. This area of the world is unique. We love the community and plan to return."

A Beautiful Oasis, Perfect Location and Wonderful Owners!!
"We returned earlier this week to the States and are already missing the sounds and ocean breeze of San Juan del Sur. We had a group of 9 people at Casa Miramar - 4 couples with their own bedrooms/bathrooms, ocean views and decks and an extra room for the 9th friend. It was beyond perfect accommodations and the location to town and the beach made for easy access and decent exercise. One night we had their staff make us dinner and after finishing off every bite we were wishing we had done the meal package – it was one of the best meals we had all week in San Juan del Sur. Also, it was such a treat to practice yoga in the owners studio, Zen Yoga (about a 10 minute walk from the house) with our friends every morning and drink yummy green smoothies post – already missing that routine and way of life. Thank you Vanessa and Will for making our stay extra memorable and relaxing!"

"I've been staying in this casita for 7yrs. Always clean, great location, and absolutely worry free. Great room set up, and perfect for kids. Some of the houses in Rancho can be a bit challenging for young ones with the elevation, and cliffs. Don't forget to tip the maid."

"Our stay at this property was summed up by the Title-Exceptional.
It was our third trip to Nicaragua, this time with another couple. The 2BR/2B Condo was perfect for our needs.
Better than good location right on the sand, 2nd floor ocean views, personal attention from staff when needed, security, amenities, etc. Full modern kitchen provided easy meals when we wanted, with fresh local foods picked up from Rivas and nearby. The wonderful area restaurants contributed the rest.
Dinner on the balcony, watching super ocean sunsets. Going to sleep every night to the sound of breaking surf, only to wake up to same. Doesn't get any better for surfers with the 3 breaks. And great fishing from Gigante boats who picked us up right in front, with a short swim out. Casual beach walkers will enjoy the shelling.
A simultaneous relaxing and invigorating setting sure to please. Highly recommended!"
