"Even better than the photos. Loved the house, pool, balconies, view. Enjoyed watching the sunsets and the bats. The daily cleaning was amazing and helpful. We used Bosco for transportation. He's good, although a bit insistent - which is harder for a group of introverts. We always felt safe and secure. Check out the morning yoga at the nearby chocolate mansion. The accompanying "instructions" for the property were great but I would have loved to have a map in the house and/or directions to some of the restaurants. Overall, an incredible property - beautiful with a very responsive and helpful owner. thanks!"

"We stayed at Keith's house (Las Palmas) in 4 night in August 2015. We were a party of 15 people (3 families, 6 adults and 9 children aged from 8 to 15). The house was the perfect size and had the perfect location. We didn't have cars so we all appreciated being so close the shops, the restaurants and the beach. We had access to the kitchen to prepare our own meals. Marta (housekeeper) also cooked for us. We went to see the turtles lay their eggs and the children took surfing lessons. We went horseback riding with Chito. That was certainly one of the highlight of our trip. I have to admit that when we learned that we would not go on the beach with the horses (the #1 thing to do in sjds according to Trip Advisor), we were not so sure. But we would have missed the amazing views from the mountains. The children loved spending some time on the ranch. And the horses were perfect, the children would certainly have taken a lot more on the horses.
Je vous encourage à louer cette maison. Vous ne serez pas déçu. Et si vous parlez français, vous aurez la chance de faire la conversation avec Keith."

"My husband and I stayed at Casa Francesca for four days in May 2015 (our stay was much too short!). It was the PERFECT way to end our time in Nicaragua. After lots of sightseeing, hiking and general jam-packed tourist days Casa Francesca was the perfect place to just relax and recharge before going home to Canada. The pool and views from every room in the property are so stunning, we barely left the poolside our entire stay. Laura was fantastic to work with, and so helpful, even when it came to questions totally unrelated to our stay in Balcones. We had a hard time accurately describing this place to our friends and family when we returned home, it really is quite incredible!"

"Casa Colina is beautiful and well maintained-- has all the comforts from home. 7 of us adults fit comfortably, the loft space was a bit hot so the guys ended up sleeping in the living room which gets a nice breeze at night. The view is breath taking at all times of the day, but is especially cool at night when the town is lit up. As expected in Nica- the electricity did go out twice during our week stay, but that is no reflection on the home itself. even though the pool is quite small, it was such a luxury to have one after walking up the hill to get home. We all got massages at the house, which was incredible! Highly recommend doing that! Catalina is the best ever. Can't say enough good things about her! She is so helpful and brought us a ton of laughs and fun times. I highly reccomend staying at casa Colina if your considering staying in SJDS."
