  • Amazing Home and Location

"Villa Noche is an amazing home, perched above the waves with 180 degree unobstructed views of the gorgeous ocean and bay. Equally impressive was the attention and friendly service provided by Memo, Claudia and Jose. They made sure our stay was amazing. Whatever our needs, no matter how small, they were there to help. If you're looking for a place in San Juan Del Sure, make sure you book Villa Noche!"

  • Gorgeous property!

"Our family and friends (4 adults and 2 kids ages 9 and 6) stayed at this property in late November. It is truly stunning. The highlight, without any doubt, is the beach. Broad, beautiful sand; nice moderate waves; and virtual no people. The kids had an excellent time building sand castles and boogie boarding (boards can be rented at the restaurant down the beach). We've had several vacation stays at Pacific coast beaches (Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica) and this is our favorite. The property unit itself was also a very pleasant suprise. It was spacious, immaculate, and well-equipment. There was plenty of space to cook and socialize. The bedrooms upstairs were comfortable and gave our group of 6 plenty of room. The washing machine was also handy. The property is a bargin. As mentioned in other reviews, the potential downside--an upside for many--is the relative isolation. There is not a whole lot of development in this area, which boggles the mind considering its beauty. There is one adequate but unexceptional restaurant on the beach. We ate breakfast and dinner there several times, but I'd recommend bringing some groceries in from San Juan del Sur rather than relying too heavily on the restaurant. We didn't have a rental car which limited our mobility some, but had no trouble arranging transport to see the turtles at la Flor. The property and beach are perfect for anyone looking to relax with family and friends in peaceful, gorgeous setting."

  • A Surfer's Paradise ... and a Beautiful, Simple Home

"We LOVED Casa Maderas y Olas!! We stayed there for 1 month during July of 2014, and found it to be very clean, simple, and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the hard wood floors that kept sand to a minimum and cleaning a breeze. The washer was nice to have since we didn't bring much with us and needed to keep our clothes clean also. The king size beds were comfy and we liked that the two bedrooms were on opposite ends of the house for privacy. The large balcony overlooking the trees was a great place to relax after surfing, and the hammocks were awesome! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out! The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies for cooking, so we were able to save a lot of money cooking at home. Conveniently located only 20min from San Juan Del Sur, we enjoyed going into town for groceries and nightlife when the mood struck, as well as walking to our favorite pizza place- Munchies Bluues, which has the BEST pizza and atmosphere in Nica! For surfers, the location is perfect. Very close to Playa Maderas, offering waves for all levels of surfing, and very consistent surf. Small eateries are also there, so it was nice to grab some snacks and drinks after a great session. Overall, it was one of the best places we've stayed in our travels throughout Central America, and we can't wait to come back again soon ! Tony (property manager) was very helpful, answering any questions we had and making sure we were comfortable, and the caretaker that lived on property was VERY nice and helpful also. He even let us share his power outlet to charge our computers, as well as store our cold items in his refrigerator when the power went out occasionally (very common in Nicaragua). Excellent surf within walking distance... a comfy and beautiful home to relax in... in a welcoming and safe country. Who could ask for more?!! Casa Maderas y Olas?? We loved it!"

  • Rest seekers

"After living and working here in Nicaragua for 17 yrs it is always nice to find new places that take your breathe away and remind you of the beauty and tranquility that Nicaragua has. This home got us excited from the first moment we placed our eyes on her. It was spacious, at one with nature with it's big screens for bedroom windows, and a great balance for indoor and outdoor options to rest and revive the soul. The beach was not to close, but once you got there, it was as good as any we have enjoyed in the past. Not many will be disappointed by choosing this piece of paradise."
