  • Amazing spot right in front of the main surf break!

"I rented this house along with 2 other couples and one 3 year old. It was absolutely amazing. If you have surfers with you, we did, the main break Colorados is literally in front of the house. If you weren't a surfer, this house would still make a lovely romantic getaway. The upstairs has a separate entrance and is HUGE, so just decide who gets that ahead of time if you are traveling with companions. The rental agency Iguana Surf Rentals was fabulous to work with. Nicaragua is a truly lovely country, worth visiting. We used Mateo Blevins for arranging our chef, transportation, and any and all needs we had during our stay, he was great!"

  • Just perfect and for a reasonable price

"We stayed two nights at this Casita (family, 3 small children) and had a wonderful time! The house is very comfy, well equiped kitchen and a plenty of space for children to play and for parents to sit down (both inside and outside) and enjoy a shot of Flor de Cana... A 5min walk to a beautiful surf beach, swimming pool (ideal for both adults and children), restaurant (delicious) and a yoga cabana (one of the best yoga classes we have ever taken.) But above all it is an excelent base (for a reasonable price) for exploring the surroundings - beaches, surfing, restaurants with great views, turtles and other animals, etc. If you want to explore, better come with your own car if you can. Enjoy!"

  • Great Place for Families!

"Hacienda Iguana is a wonderful place for families. This was our second trip and it didn't disappoint. We stayed for over a month and the Villas were perfect accommodation, steps from the beach and pool. We were there with our five year old, who had a blast swimming in the ocean and cruising in the golf cart looking for monkeys, lizards and cool birds. The surf was great. The ocean cleared up enough a few days to snorkel out front and saw tons of species. The tide pools at the end of the beach were cool everyday. For us, it was great to have a car and get out of the complex to visit sights. Rob was great, helping us with anything we needed. Counting the days until we are back."

  • Wonderful Getaway in Nicaragua!

"My boyfriend and I stayed in the Casa La Selva house for 7 days, just the 2 of us and it was beyond AMAZING! I'd definitely recommend the property if you have 2 or 4 people or a big group and split yourselves between the house and casita. It was a perfect size! Because there were only 2 of us, we couldn't do the food plan, so our Nicaragua 365 driver stopped at the large grocery store on the way from the airport. It was very convenient and we got tons of food and were able to make our own breakfasts and dinners. The pool and the property itself are awesome, very crisp and clean, and I can't boast enough about the LOCATION! The house is just steps away from the beach and my boyfriend is a big surfer, so he was in Heaven (being less than a 5 min walk from Playa Colorados and Panga Drops). The beach is one of the prettiest I've ever seen and so pristine! There's not much shade, so bring a hat :)! The ocean water temperature was absolutely perfect and the STARS at night- oh my goodness! My only issue the entire week was the lack of restaurants/things to do in close proximity. I'm an adventurer and have a hard time relaxing for 7 days straight, so I found myself a little stir crazy at times. We hung out at the beach club almost every evening to watch the sunset and drink the KILLER pina coladas. Best I've ever had! Pili's kitchen also has amazing food! One day we hiked along the beach over to Playa Gigante for lunch, another day we drove over to Rancho Santana for a nice Valentines dinner, and one day we went zip-lining in San Juan Del Sur. I HIGHLY recommend visiting San Juan Del Sur for a day for some liveliness and going on the short 15 min drive to Rancho Santana. Think Santa Barbara in Nicaragua. It's a beyond BEAUTIFUL beach and setting. Make your way to the beach club for a meal! The menu is overpriced for Nicaragua, but very nice, delicious food and a little more upscale. We didn't rent a car, but I'd recommend it if you're more of an adventurer (like us). Lots of cool things to do and see within driving distance of Casa La Selva. I have so many great things to say about David and the team. They were super professional and always very on top of things... if internet went out, we needed something random, really anything they were always right there! They were very friendly, always stopped by to say hello and had exceptional customer service. Thanks to the team there for making everything so relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely be back!"
