"I've been staying in this casita for 7yrs. Always clean, great location, and absolutely worry free. Great room set up, and perfect for kids. Some of the houses in Rancho can be a bit challenging for young ones with the elevation, and cliffs. Don't forget to tip the maid."

"My boyfriend and I stayed in the Casa La Selva house for 7 days, just the 2 of us and it was beyond AMAZING! I'd definitely recommend the property if you have 2 or 4 people or a big group and split yourselves between the house and casita. It was a perfect size! Because there were only 2 of us, we couldn't do the food plan, so our Nicaragua 365 driver stopped at the large grocery store on the way from the airport. It was very convenient and we got tons of food and were able to make our own breakfasts and dinners. The pool and the property itself are awesome, very crisp and clean, and I can't boast enough about the LOCATION! The house is just steps away from the beach and my boyfriend is a big surfer, so he was in Heaven (being less than a 5 min walk from Playa Colorados and Panga Drops). The beach is one of the prettiest I've ever seen and so pristine! There's not much shade, so bring a hat :)! The ocean water temperature was absolutely perfect and the STARS at night- oh my goodness! My only issue the entire week was the lack of restaurants/things to do in close proximity. I'm an adventurer and have a hard time relaxing for 7 days straight, so I found myself a little stir crazy at times. We hung out at the beach club almost every evening to watch the sunset and drink the KILLER pina coladas. Best I've ever had! Pili's kitchen also has amazing food! One day we hiked along the beach over to Playa Gigante for lunch, another day we drove over to Rancho Santana for a nice Valentines dinner, and one day we went zip-lining in San Juan Del Sur. I HIGHLY recommend visiting San Juan Del Sur for a day for some liveliness and going on the short 15 min drive to Rancho Santana. Think Santa Barbara in Nicaragua. It's a beyond BEAUTIFUL beach and setting. Make your way to the beach club for a meal! The menu is overpriced for Nicaragua, but very nice, delicious food and a little more upscale. We didn't rent a car, but I'd recommend it if you're more of an adventurer (like us). Lots of cool things to do and see within driving distance of Casa La Selva. I have so many great things to say about David and the team. They were super professional and always very on top of things... if internet went out, we needed something random, really anything they were always right there! They were very friendly, always stopped by to say hello and had exceptional customer service. Thanks to the team there for making everything so relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely be back!"

"If you are looking for a relaxing vacation by the beach this is the place to be. World class waves right outside your door are great for anyone looking to surf, or hanging out at the beach club with a $2 beer watching the locals ride the waves is awesome too. I definitely felt more safe here than anywhere else in Central America I have been, and that includes traveling outside of the community to neighboring towns and beaches. Robbie, the property manager makes everything as easy as it can be. He is right there to help with any issues you have, planning day trips and pretty much anything else you could need. Yasmil, his go to guy for driving is an awesome person as well and made traveling around really fun and easy. We had an incident in out group and someone had to go to the hospital in Managua at 1am and both Robbie and Yasmil took control of the situation and took it upon themselves to check on the person the next day and make sure everything was okay. Can't say enough good things about this place, I can't wait to get back!"

"This was a fantastic week! Absolutely magical, for my kids who didn't surf they had a blast as the beaches are empty and safe and the pool and smoothies were so accessible. I loved the surf, it was too advanced for my boys and that's something to consider as it's a fast, world-class tube ride on sand. We loved our excursion to the volcano and Granada, but the zipline was wimpy there and I wouldn't recommend it. I've been to Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Hondorus and by far this is where I want to come back. We never felt unsafe and met some great people from around the world. The new ice cream shop by the entrance is fantastic."
