Hacienda iguana was a wonderful experience-luvly condo, on the beach, with a pool, what a view, luv!
"I would recommend anyone to stay here, it was wonderful!! The condo is lovely, the pool is great, the ocean is incredible, the property managers were helpful, was great! There is a beach bar about 20 minutes down the beach, serving great food, another pool and beach bar, we can't wait for our return! Thank you!!"

"Ideal location and condo! Literally on the beach! Don't have to lug everything down to the beach because you're just steps away from the ocean or the pool, makes it so convenient! Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook for a family, and everything provided including beach towels. Corner location gives you amazing views throughout the unit, and lots of privacy. Balcony is the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning, and gorgeous sunsets. Beach is super quiet, safe, and flat. Roger and Val make check-in/check-out and reservations a breeze. Thank you for another wonderful vacation!!"

"Our goal was to find a nice place to stay that was close to good surf; Casa la Selva, with all it’s good reviews, seemed to be just that place.
Excellent choice! We spent 7 days there in August 2015, and our every expectation was exceeded.
The accommodations are top-notch; a lot of little details that didn’t matter in our younger days are so much appreciated now. Things like comfortable beds and couches, ceiling fans, air conditioning, the deck and outdoor furniture, the amazing pool, and everything is so clean!
The staff also deserves high praise; not only did they meet our every whim, but they were thankful for the opportunity, which really made us feel welcome. We opted for the food plan, which I highly recommend; home cooked, fresh and healthy meals really added to the care-free nature of our stay.
The location of the property is perfect; we felt completely safe within the Iguana community, the beach is steps away and gorgeous, and the surf is groomed by offshore winds all day and was good to great the whole time.
If you are looking to Nicaragua for your next adventure, and want to travel with the peace of mind that someone is looking out for you, then you really can’t do better than Casa la Selva."

"I planned a trip here for my birthday with my partner and 6 other gay men. I was looking for a low key beach vacation where we could relax and do nothing much other than that. I discovered Nicaragua 365 and sent an email through the website for a house that would accommodate all of us. The first house I chose was not available for our dates but very quickly David and James responded with this house which was equally nice. From that point on David and James took care of everything. We also decided to take advantage of the package that included two meals a day.
We arrived at Managua Airport late on Saturday morning. The airport is very small which is great because you can get through security quickly. I have to be honest that we were a bit nervous about how we would be received. We are 8 gay men and we weren't sure how we'd be treated, we were pleasantly surprised how we were welcomed. We walked outside and were greeted by the driver who took us to the house. The drive was about 2.5 hours but it was fine because none of us had been to Nicaragua and it was nice to see the country. We arrived at the house and Cecilia was there already cooking. We unpacked and had a cocktail and started relaxing right away. James stopped by and made sure we had everything we needed.
The next day David came by to introduce himself and schedule activities for us. Fortunately he was there because one in our group was stung by a sting ray and David drove him to the clinic right away (all turned out fine). On Wednesday we took a day trip to Granada and went zip lining. David came along with us and made sure we saw the highlights of Granada. We went on a nice boat ride, stopped at an island for drinks and then went to an excellent dinner.
I can tell you this was one of the best vacations I have been on. The house was perfect, the staff was incredible and the location was exactly what I was looking for. It was clean, safe, beautiful and relaxing.
Thank you to David, James, Cecilia, Juanita, and everyone else who made my birthday vacation one to remember."
