"Our goal was to find a nice place to stay that was close to good surf; Casa la Selva, with all it’s good reviews, seemed to be just that place.
Excellent choice! We spent 7 days there in August 2015, and our every expectation was exceeded.
The accommodations are top-notch; a lot of little details that didn’t matter in our younger days are so much appreciated now. Things like comfortable beds and couches, ceiling fans, air conditioning, the deck and outdoor furniture, the amazing pool, and everything is so clean!
The staff also deserves high praise; not only did they meet our every whim, but they were thankful for the opportunity, which really made us feel welcome. We opted for the food plan, which I highly recommend; home cooked, fresh and healthy meals really added to the care-free nature of our stay.
The location of the property is perfect; we felt completely safe within the Iguana community, the beach is steps away and gorgeous, and the surf is groomed by offshore winds all day and was good to great the whole time.
If you are looking to Nicaragua for your next adventure, and want to travel with the peace of mind that someone is looking out for you, then you really can’t do better than Casa la Selva."

"Highly recommend. Exceeded all expectations in every way.
We stayed for 9 nights, 2 adults and an 8 year old.
First time traveling to Nicaragua. Husband is a surfer so the draw to Rancho Santana was the surf breaks, which were definitely impressive and uncrowded as were the beaches. The house and Rancho Santana facilities were the icing on the cake !
Roger was amazing in responding to questions promptly and I should point out we have never booked through VRBO before and the process couldn't of been easier.
Gladis and Leo the house keeper and her family so nice and super helpful, already missing them.
Willy for car rental, highly recommend rented a great Toyota Helux 4x4 perfect for those Rancho hills and to throw the board in the back.
Visit Yolanders restaurant for a great local authentic meal and Scala italian for the best brick oven pizza and we enjoyed just staying in and cooking at the house. Burgers they sell to cook at Rancho Super market very nice and club house food excellent ! Fresh seafood delivered to the house doesn't get better than that.
Horse riding in Rancho Santana was great, my sons first time riding.
The location is super private, relaxing and the view takes your breath away !
Wish we had stayed longer !
Already looking forward to returning and would definitely stay at Rogers !"

"The condo is great. The location is even greater. Stayed here with my girlfriend. Perfect place for couples whether they surf or not. Proximity to waves means more time spent with significant others (rather than driving all over). You must try the fish tacos at Pili's. The best I've ever had 🐟. We will definitely be back!"

"We were a big crew, who came for surfing.. we totally enjoyed every minute of our stay, and the apartment and features was sublime!! We choose the in-house meal service which was ok and is good value, but could variate more.. We went beginning of season and scored big!! we surfed 22 sessions in 9 days.. whats to complain about :-D. We would love to come back!"
