"Wow. This place is amazing.. We had reserved it for a week to take our family down to relax in Nicaragua. After an amazing few days in Granada we headed to Gigante to e Treehouse. You can only imagine how stoked th 4 and 6 year old were when we walked out to the deck on the first day to be greeted by the monkeys in the trees. They were quickly identified and named and became a daily event. The house was solid build and had all the amenities we needed for our tropical vacation. Daily beers in the pool while looking at the coast made for the best days. The three minute walk to the beach made for easy excursions down to the ocean for daily swims and sandcastles. Also, having a little restaurant right on the beach made it easy for this dad to enjoy a cold beverage as the juniors played the day away. The town of Gigante is a rad little town that has not yet been too overrun and still has the fishing village vibe. There are a few good restaurants and we even found a little store in town to buy some necessities such as beer, limes, and treats for the kids. The owner Ron, was very easy to work with and his staff at the house was top of the chart. Thank you for an amazing trip that has made lasting memories.."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: September 16, 2014View listing
"The house was wonderful! We stayed with a total of 7 adults and had a great time. The pool was a great amenity, internet fairly consistent (localized to the rooms) and the outdoor living space was such a treat! Also - the house was really clean and maintained - and the staff that manages was super efficient. The house is in the center of the city too, so very close to sites, restaurants, and shopping. Would recommend this to anyone !"Guest: Maggie M. Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: December 9, 2013View listing
"There were 5 guys on our yearly outing. Truly amazing place to stay. Will and Vanessa couldn't have been nicer to us. Came to the villa to welcome us, and inform us if we needed anything, not to hesitate to ask. Which we did. They arranged a guide for us and cooks. Everything we needed, they took care of. Lovely place to stay. They made you feel right at home there. I recommend this as a great place to stay in San Juan del Sur."Guest: David Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 14, 2014View listing
"The view from the condo was beautiful! The condo was neat and clean. There was a plumbing problem while we were there, but Christine took care of it right away. The only problem we had was a barking dog across the street but you have to expect this in a residential neighborhood. The driver Vladimire was a tremendous help with the language and getting us around. We would definitely go back again someday."Guest: Linda & Ken Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: February 4, 2014View listing

Sporting and Leisure Activities near Nicaragua Vacation Rentals
In the area around San Juan Del Sur, surfing is a popular pastime. The swells in Nicaragua are so legendary that they attract surfers from all over the world. Kite surfers and windsurfers can also enjoy the wind and waves. There are several schools along the coastline that provide equipment and lessons if you want to give these sports a try.

If you want to hook game fish such as marlin, sailfish or tuna, you will want to head out with an experienced skipper who can take you to the best fishing spots. Then spend the afternoon snorkeling and enjoy the colorful underwater world. Seasons to Visit Nicaragua Oceanfront Rentals
The peak travel season for surfers is between the months of May and November, when the swell conditions are at their best. Unfortunately, this is also the heavy rainy season. Showers are typically short-lived but downpours can be heavy. If traveling overland in areas where there are only dirt roads, you will need an all-terrain vehicle. In general, a tropical climate dominates which results in consistently warm temperatures all year long. A popular time for beach lovers is between the months of December and April. Nicaragua provides the perfect escape for those from the Northern Hemisphere who want to get away from icy climates for a while. This is also traditionally the windy season so you may need to hold onto your beach hat.

San Juan Del Sur is one of the most popular beach destinations in Nicaragua. There are many stylish homes and villas that are available for rent. Many homes have magnificent views out over the bay and large open decks where you can dine in the evening or suntan during the day. Many have beautiful lush tropical gardens, complete with a few local inhabitants such as colorful parrots and monkeys.
