  • A great first visit to Panama!

"What we loved about this property location...smack in the middle of a history lesson! The owners and their manager were excellent to deal with. The neighborhood is a slice of daily life, with a twist..it is right next to the Presidential Palace. Being only steps from at least 3 wonderful cafes, all with great outdoor patios and sometimes entertainment, was an added bonus. Tbe view from the balcony was lovely, ..at night it was magical. We walked to the seawall, the Panama Canal museum, and many churches. A great 2 weeks. Marj, Chris, Rick and Sue"

  • Great Villa

"Coste Grande is a cozy villa, very well cared for having all the amenities you will need with a nice touch of decor. From the time of booking, Zhenia the owner provided many helpful tips and information including the name of a trusted transport company. Zhenia was truly a pleasure to deal with and ensured we had everything we needed. Having a keypad lock for this villa is a great feature with no keys to carry around. Though a vehicle is recommended we chose not to rent one and got along just fine. We love to walk so this villa was ideal for us. Bikes would have been a bonus but there are none around to rent. The beach is a two minute walk and there are 3 convenience stores for essentials also within walking distance. Coronado is a short bus ride or taxi ride with everything you need. The back garden/covered patio is a wonderful place to hang out. You will always have a place to go if you need some shade. The pictures and description on VRBO are represented exactly. Thank you for sharing your villa."

  • George

"A bright spacious unit with spectacular view. No problem with dogs or roosters as in previous unit. Main disappointment was the size of the second bedroom and the separate bathroom. We would not be interested in this unit for a future visit if we were expecting guests. We understand there are full size two bedrooms available. Unlike our previous unit, the direction of the rising sun made for a very hot unit before we got up in the morning. It was also very windy, which made opening the door sometimes hazardous. These are not things you can do anything about but are relevant. Lots of opportunity for social interaction through happy hours. Moon parties at the beach club were paticularly enjoyable."

  • Absolutely Enchanting!!!

"This CLEAN & COMFORTABLE casita is perched on a small hill surrounded by it's own private park. Beautifully terraced and landscaped, one feels like they are in their own private kingdom! Flocks of white egrets fly gracefully through the little valley, butterflies flutter about, the occasional toucan squawks and one catches glimpses of color from the many small multi-hued birds in the area. The sloth stayed in a tree near the terrace for 2 weeks---what a show!! There were fireflies in December--so charming! I stayed, alone, for 46 nights and was not the least bit bored. Definitely a SAFE location, too! The master bedroom bed is comfortable, hot water situation is so-so and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and full sized appliances. It is about a 40 minute walk to town (gorgeous), but there are "hop on" mini-buses (50 cents) and taxis ($4). The caretakers and workers are all just lovely people and will help you in any way they can--best if you speak some Spanish, as no English is spoken. I suggest a stay of, at least, a week or two so that you may truly enjoy all that this enchanting valley has to offer. Many restaurants and stores to chose from. The only possible downside is the internet situation (which the owner plans to rectify in March, 2015). If you MUST have strong, dependable, constant access--well, this might not be the place for you. I suggest checking with the owners for an update. The owner was most helpful and easy to work with--quick with replies to any and all questions. This is definitely a TWO THUMBS UP property. Should you chose this property, you will be THRILLED with your choice. Really!"
