  • "Red Frog Beach is not finished being built so I was a little wary of finding things to do… I was expecting a Jurassic Park type experience. However, the Red Frog villa and property ended up being nicer and a lot more fun than I expected. Even though there is no restaurant or spa, there was so much to do and explore: incredible beaches with no one around, hikes, scuba diving, Bocas town is cool, CAVE TOUR is a must, and kayaking. We wish we would have had another day or two there. This is the type of place to go when you want to experience all the sights, sounds and sensations of tropical jungle with killer beaches. The villa was situated on the hillside and had an INCREDIBLE view! The villa itself was very impressive and decorated very nicely. There were a bunch of unfinished Villas that don’t look great and unpaved roads, but it didn’t bother us (we liked the price). We enjoyed time together as family and our two kids had a blast seeing all the animals and playing on the beaches. The staff (especially Justin and Miranda) were also very accommodating and attentive to our needs. We travel often as a family and I would recommend Red Frog to anyone wanting to go to Central America. I am not aware of too many places in Central America where you can experience beaches, jungles, exotic animals in their natural environments, and water sports while enjoying luxurious accommodations."

  • Nice place

"Great place. Loved the ocean breezes and how close you were to the water. Sunsets were great too. Air conditioner and city electric are a must and this has it. Walk is a little long from town and you can't take a water taxi due to the seas. If your not affraid of crabs climbing on trees you'll have an enjoyable walk. Just don't bring big luggage. Antonio was AMAZING!!!! Paul and Mistery"

  • Escape to Paradise

"Just got back from a three day trip to Bocas and had an unbelievable trip! Casita was everything I hoped it would be. Even better was the owner, Dragan. Picked us up right on time and made sure we had everything we needed! I will be back again!!!"

  • Paradise Found!

"I can only agree with the other positive reviews on this sight. I have traveled extensively, and the Casa Sol Y La Luna is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I have ever stayed. The house itself is beautiful with reliable hot water and 12V electricity and the location provides a feeling of seclusion while being an easy walk to the nearby resorts in case you don't want to make all of your own meals (the food at Al Natural was excellent and is a fair value considering the location and the fact that wine is included). While the "cons" listed in the previous review are mostly accurate, the type of traveler you are will determine if these facts are actually "cons" at all. If you want constant 110V electricity and the absence of all insects, then you should know better than to stay on Bestimentos in the first place - perhaps the Trump hotel in Panama City would be a better fit! The house was spotless, and is in an excellent state of repair. Sunanda and Vincent could not have been more helpful and approachable hosts. We stayed for only four nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Be warned: after staying here you may find future beach accommodations pale in comparison, and your memories of falling asleep and waking up only to the sound of the waves and the jungle will make want to return again and again! Thank you so much Sunanda and Vincent, for memories of a fabulous family vacation that will last a lifetime!"
