  • Amazing stay!

"To begin, we were happily greeted by a very nice couple at the airport. They took us by car to get our golf cart rental, which we highly recommend renting while staying at Casa K. We loved it! Great for exploring! From there they let us follow them to the house. Be sure to wear your seatbelt and follow all driving laws! When we arrived at the house, it was better than described. The sound of the ocean waves crashing was unbelievable. We sat on the front porch and just took in the sight and sounds of the crashing waves. Our stay was very comfortable and Tyson was available and prompt in answering our emails and calls. The house provided a house cell phone with all necessary numbers stored in the phone which was great! This house is in an awesome neighborhood. There were 2 restaurant options in the area. The Paki Point Restaurant a few doors down, was an incredible place to eat and drink in the neighborhood. As well as an outdoor evening pizza place. I bit further down the road is bluff beach which has some restaurants and places on the beach to eat and drink as well. Overall, our stay was amazing! Kristen, the owner, was a great about everything. She answered all my questions and full filed all our requests. We would love to stay here again! Thanks! • Loved this place

"This place has all the amenities you could want in Bocas del Toro. The spacious home has two private units on the ground level with a shared patio. The open, modern floor plan was clean and spacious with a full kitchen as well as access to a washer and dryer. We enjoyed the location, which is centered between town (2 miles) and beach bluff. Although bicycles were available, we rented an ATV down the street, which was reasonably priced, making it easy to get around in both day and evenings. Sandi was a gracious host—friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. She has dogs for protection, as do most people owning property in Bocas. We enjoyed occasional cocktails on Sandi’s upper patio, and she helped us arrange several tours, which were highlights of our trip. We enjoyed the jungle feel of the area, including the howler monkeys, without giving up modern amenities."

  • Lots of fun, lots of bug bites

"First, Bocas was gorgeous. Clear water, beautiful beaches (especially zapatillas), unique wildlife, and nice people. A really great place for 20-50 year olds for adventure, warm ocean swimming, and great bars and clubs at night. The house was one of the nicer that I saw in the area, but it's still an island house. Hot water is inconsistent, no A/C, and the gaps in the windows give the geckos & insects free reign. Be sure to bring bug spray and be sure to sleep under the mosquito nets, and be prepared to be bitten regardless. If you can get past those things though, this place is an awesome vacation home base. Water taxis pick you up at the dock and all of the captains know where this place is, so it's easy to get home. It's a dollar taxi/person to the main island, and where most bars/restaurants are. I think the best restaurant is walking distance though, the cosmic crab. The house has snorkel equipment, laundry, kitchen, kayaks, and everything you need to have an amazing time. The management company is very friendly and available, and mostly American or European for easy communication. All in all, I definitely recommend this place for a family/group. Maybe wear pants and long sleeves at night, but the mild itch of the bites is worth the beauty and relaxed pace of this place."

  • This is the place you want to rent if you are going to Bocas.

"I just returned from a week long stay at Vista Azul lodge. I travelled there with my wife, five children (21 to 18 months), and in-laws. The house was exactly as advertised on the website and the beach view from the house was spectacular. Peter Kent answered emails promptly and made the rental process very efficient. I was treated with some celebrity once the local boat taxi drivers discovered I was staying at "Señor Kent's Casa" We went scuba diving with La Buga Dive shop. Tony was our dive master and did a great job. The food there was delicious. We took a catamaran ride with Marcelle at Bocas Sailing. Good trip but rain all day. Most fun activity was an ATV ride with Flying Pirates up the north east coast of Isla Colon. Great fun. The proprietor the I believe is Steve who may actually be a real pirate. Every day brought head high waves 1000 yards from the front door step My 21 yo daughter and 18 yo son said it was the best trip ever and plan to return. My 14 yo daughter and mother in law were a little taken aback by the geckos. No regrets here."
