"First, Bocas was gorgeous. Clear water, beautiful beaches (especially zapatillas), unique wildlife, and nice people. A really great place for 20-50 year olds for adventure, warm ocean swimming, and great bars and clubs at night.
The house was one of the nicer that I saw in the area, but it's still an island house. Hot water is inconsistent, no A/C, and the gaps in the windows give the geckos & insects free reign. Be sure to bring bug spray and be sure to sleep under the mosquito nets, and be prepared to be bitten regardless.
If you can get past those things though, this place is an awesome vacation home base. Water taxis pick you up at the dock and all of the captains know where this place is, so it's easy to get home. It's a dollar taxi/person to the main island, and where most bars/restaurants are. I think the best restaurant is walking distance though, the cosmic crab.
The house has snorkel equipment, laundry, kitchen, kayaks, and everything you need to have an amazing time. The management company is very friendly and available, and mostly American or European for easy communication.
All in all, I definitely recommend this place for a family/group. Maybe wear pants and long sleeves at night, but the mild itch of the bites is worth the beauty and relaxed pace of this place."

"This property is more than a house...it has it all!!! If you want to be a little away from the noise and the craziness of the town when it gets crowded but be close enough to ride your bike there for groceries or dinner then this is the perfect location. Plus you are within a property that is quiet, peaceful, has horses, and has a WATERSLIDE!!, and you can take nice walks among the property and feel like you are in the jungle, and then walk a few minutes and you are on a beautiful beach! What is not to love! Plus the inside is appointed with gorgeous cabinets, appliances, furniture, big screen tv and oh so comfortable beds!!! Love this property so much we are buying a lot and building our own home here. So warning do not come here unless you are ok with ending up wanting to stay forever! Bill and Caitlin the owners are wonderful..great decision to rent this place! Made wonderful life time friends."

"We searched for a place where we could really relax as a family of four and we found it. We had more space than we needed and all amenities we expected and then some (such as the kayak or the dryer). While it is not as separated from the village as it may seem on the picture, you can be all by yourselves. Still, in no time you can be downtown with a cab (60cents). The kids loved to go back by watertaxi. Chris was a great manager and he reacted right away when contacted but never disturbed us in any way. If you stay in Bocas del Torro you must consider this house. It will host easily a small crowd of up to 10 people. Enjoy!"

"This place has all the amenities you could want in Bocas del Toro. The spacious home has two private units on the ground level with a shared patio. The open, modern floor plan was clean and spacious with a full kitchen as well as access to a washer and dryer. We enjoyed the location, which is centered between town (2 miles) and beach bluff. Although bicycles were available, we rented an ATV down the street, which was reasonably priced, making it easy to get around in both day and evenings. Sandi was a gracious host—friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. She has dogs for protection, as do most people owning property in Bocas. We enjoyed occasional cocktails on Sandi’s upper patio, and she helped us arrange several tours, which were highlights of our trip. We enjoyed the jungle feel of the area, including the howler monkeys, without giving up modern amenities."
