"I had a great time with my family in this loft, fully equiped and beautifully decorated, it is located just in the best place a few steps to the beach and swimming pool, and if you do not want to cook there are restaurants around. I just love it and wish to stay more time."

"This is a lovely condo, with a view that is absolutely incredible! I was here for a month and loved it. The facility is very, very quiet and peaceful, on weekends it pickups up only a little. Graciela, the contact person, was super responsive, always available via phone or email, and quite helpful. The owner was easy as pie to deal with, I've never had a rental transaction be so uncomplicated. The golf was wonderful! The staff at the golf course all made me feel welcome and it is a good and well thought out course!
Now some downsides of the the condo: since I spent most of my time on the very spacious balcony, (reading a history of the canal while watching it!) including a daily long yoga session, it REALLY NEEDS A NEW PATIO SET! Forget the umbrella which is not usable in the wind, something new and not rusty. The walls need painting or at least some touch up work. A few larger pictures would add so much as there is no interest in terms of the walls. Just a bit more interest in the decor, the structure of the condo itself (granite, etc.) is lovely.
All in all though, it is a wonderful place with a superb view plus a golf course!!! I would not hesitate to rent again or to recommend it."

"First, Bocas was gorgeous. Clear water, beautiful beaches (especially zapatillas), unique wildlife, and nice people. A really great place for 20-50 year olds for adventure, warm ocean swimming, and great bars and clubs at night.
The house was one of the nicer that I saw in the area, but it's still an island house. Hot water is inconsistent, no A/C, and the gaps in the windows give the geckos & insects free reign. Be sure to bring bug spray and be sure to sleep under the mosquito nets, and be prepared to be bitten regardless.
If you can get past those things though, this place is an awesome vacation home base. Water taxis pick you up at the dock and all of the captains know where this place is, so it's easy to get home. It's a dollar taxi/person to the main island, and where most bars/restaurants are. I think the best restaurant is walking distance though, the cosmic crab.
The house has snorkel equipment, laundry, kitchen, kayaks, and everything you need to have an amazing time. The management company is very friendly and available, and mostly American or European for easy communication.
All in all, I definitely recommend this place for a family/group. Maybe wear pants and long sleeves at night, but the mild itch of the bites is worth the beauty and relaxed pace of this place."

"This CLEAN & COMFORTABLE casita is perched on a small hill surrounded by it's own private park. Beautifully terraced and landscaped, one feels like they are in their own private kingdom! Flocks of white egrets fly gracefully through the little valley, butterflies flutter about, the occasional toucan squawks and one catches glimpses of color from the many small multi-hued birds in the area. The sloth stayed in a tree near the terrace for 2 weeks---what a show!! There were fireflies in December--so charming! I stayed, alone, for 46 nights and was not the least bit bored. Definitely a SAFE location, too!
The master bedroom bed is comfortable, hot water situation is so-so and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and full sized appliances. It is about a 40 minute walk to town (gorgeous), but there are "hop on" mini-buses (50 cents) and taxis ($4). The caretakers and workers are all just lovely people and will help you in any way they can--best if you speak some Spanish, as no English is spoken. I suggest a stay of, at least, a week or two so that you may truly enjoy all that this enchanting valley has to offer. Many restaurants and stores to chose from.
The only possible downside is the internet situation (which the owner plans to rectify in March, 2015). If you MUST have strong, dependable, constant access--well, this might not be the place for you. I suggest checking with the owners for an update. The owner was most helpful and easy to work with--quick with replies to any and all questions. This is definitely a TWO THUMBS UP property. Should you chose this property, you will be THRILLED with your choice. Really!"
