  • Relaxing, clean, and comfortable condo

"We really enjoyed our stay at this condo in Playa Blanca. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We especially enjoyed the view and relaxing on the balcony. The mattress was great, too (unusual). The property manager met us upon arrival, showed us around, and gave us tips on the area's attractions and restaurants. (You might want to try eating dinner at Beirut at the nearby hotel -- we loved it!) The extremely relaxed ambiance suited our family very well after the hustle and bustle of Panama City. We even recommended the place to some family of ours who will be visiting the area soon."

  • “Patty's Casitas Amador location nearest Amador Causeway expansion.”

"Patty's Casitas Amador location nearest Amador Causeway expansion. Panama is even more interesting and enjoyable this time in Nov. 2014.  Our stay at  Patty's Casitas on the Amador Causeway allowed us to see all the extensive work going on to evolve this area near the Canal, into a Tourist Destination.  Frank Gehry's World Famous Biodiversity Museum is finished. A walking excursion, bike ride or short taxi ride out the causeway, bring  major surprises, as new places and things, just completed,  appear. The Yacht Harbor and Beach are still to come. For greater access to the Causeway Islands, the single narrow road, is being widened to 2 lanes going each way, using fill dirt from the New Canal Operation. In addition, the waterway approach to the canal will bring Cruise S  hips tying up directly by the Walkway, in front of Hotels and Casinos soon to be added. Of course, more Restaurants and Shops will be opening.  The ferry boats leave from right in front of the Balboa Yacht Club, only 2 blocks from the Condo and the Albrook Airport is only 10 minutes away by Taxi, so we used the Amador condo as a "base", to take a few side trips to Pedasi, Iguana Island, and Contadora in the Pearl Island Chain.  The artists version can be seen on You Tube by searching "Nuevo Amador" in Panama. Now, Patty and Rudy's Amador Condo is right where all these goings on are happening and it's only going to get better. Please see our 2013 review under Patty's Casitas, about the amenities of the Amador Condo where we have loved to stay for 3 years now. Also see our review under Rudy's Tours about the New Canal Tour."

  • A very peaceful & relaxing place

"Ann & Bob we would like to thank you for your hospitality, it was nice to arrive there after a long drive from Panama City & find the fridge stocked + cold refreshments. Ann & Bob where very helpful to advice us on places for sightseeing. The home is beautiful, the views from the deck are amazing & having coffee in the morning listening to the Howler Monkeys was great. There are very good restaurants at Boca Chica & David, we cant add much more that hasn't been said in all the other reviews."

  • 10 Wonderful Days at PVQ

"Just back from a fantastic 10 days at PVQ! Seven of us (all middle-age adults) stayed in the 4 bedroom apartment and everyday someone mentioned what a great location it was - and individuals in our group are not shy about voicing displeasure if they don’t like something. My initial concern in booking the space was that it would be too cramped for 7 people. But there was plenty of space for us to hang out together in the main living area, or to spread out by going to the covered patio area and pool in the back. The bedrooms were very nice, and the kitchen was large enough for several of us to work in as we prepared communal meals. The kitchen was well supplied with equipment - the only thing we didn't have was a whisk to mix pancake batter, and when we mentioned that in passing, a whisk was dropped off the next day. It was great hanging up the hammocks on the patio and relaxing with the breeze blowing and the birds calling, watching the sun set behind the trees. I regret we didn't take more advantage of the patio by using the barbecue grill! The level of service and attention given us by housekeeping staff and, in particular, by Karolina, the property manager, was phenomenal. Karolina answered so many of our questions - before we arrived and during the course of our stay - and helped us get our bearings and feel comfortable in our travel our the city. We used Francisco and Jorge as our drivers on different occasions and both were great. Bob, the owner, was also there while we were and was extremely help, service-oriented and just a pleasure to talk to. I think I speak for our group when I say, beyond loving the accommodations and the location, we felt like we were staying in the home of friends. Individuals in our group are already talking about coming back to Panama, and PVQ specifically. Thanks Bob and Karolina and staff! The New Jersey Friends"
