"We spent the last five days of our 3-week Panama vacation in this great property (after having spent our first 5 days in Patty's fabulous Casco Viejo loft). The Amador condo was another great stay. We really enjoyed taking a morning run along the beautiful causeway and also took the bicycles out a couple of times, which was great fun! We found a brand new Indian restaurant on the middle island which we cycled to for lunch one day, and also enjoyed cocktails at the Balboa Yacht Club just a minute or so from the apartment. For dinner, we went into Casco a couple of times. During the day there were lots of taxis right outside the condo entrance, but in the evenings we usually had to wait a couple of minutes to hail one driving by. It was easy to get back from Casco by just telling the cab drivers "Amador - TGI Fridays"! Always worth negotiating the fare, though....some drivers asked for $10 or even $20(!). We generally paid $4-$7 (probably overpaid, but seemed like a good deal).
The condo itself was terrific. Beautifully decorated and maintained with everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom and shower were huge and the bed was so comfortable. Great views over to Casco and downtown Panama City.
As with the Casco loft, we had a great binder that provided us with all the necessary instructions/directions/recommendations and Patty and Rudy were great to deal with. We would highly recommend this property (and the Casco loft - separately reviewed) and hope to stay at one or both of these properties in the future."

"Barbara, Mort & Maggie...what else would a visitor to Bouquete need than these people (and yes, the 4 legged Maggie is a person!). They provided every bit of information one would ever need in the 3 ring binder in the cottage + answered ALL of our questions with knowledge....& no question was too stupid for them to answer! Mort's bakery Rye bread along with butter & Barbara's homemade papaya/pineapple jam was waiting for our late night arrival...amazing.Make sure to partake in her silk scarf painting class (check ahead of time for the schedule) & drive down to Morton's Bakery to buy bread, sandwiches & goodies from Stacey....she made/decorated the wedding cake that was in the movie 'Mystic Pizza'! The property is secure & gorgeous with fresh banana's, papaya's & beautiful flowers all around. In fact, they made beautiful flower arrangements for our cottage!"

"We spent one month in Sarah's condo while enjoying the sights, culture, shopping & restaurants of Panama. The location and the view are great. We enjoyed daily early morning and evening long walks on the Cinta Costera. It's a gorgeous, new, well-maintained seawall that extends to the fish market, the old town, Casco Viejo and for many more miles along the pedestrian/cycle path across the puento marino to the stadium. Every Sunday the city closes down four lanes on the Avenida Balboa for miles & miles from 6 a.m. until noon. They offer free bicycles and helmets. We cycled with local families & tourists and thoroughly enjoyed the splendid views especially along the puento marino where you can stop at observation areas & soak in the views to the city and the old town.
Panama is not just the canal. It is rich in natural beauty, history and culture and the people are the friendliest you'll find anywhere.
Although we didn't meet Sarah, she is well-organized and very quick to respond to emails. Thank you for an enjoyable stay."
