Great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Coronado Panama
"My husband and I travelled to Coronado, Panama in early May. Our stay was wonderful! Although Sarah was out of town during our visit, Villma (she works for Sarah) took great care of us! We don’t speak much Spanish, but she was very helpful and so sweet! She showed us around the casita when we arrived and was available when we needed her.
The property is beautiful. We spent quite a bit of time in the pool surrounded by the beautiful flowers and plants. Sarah made everything on site available to her guests, including her back porch, outdoor shower, "tiki bar," grill, etc... It was so relaxing and we really felt like we were in an exotic tropical location!
We stayed in Casa Gaviota which has an updated modern bathroom. We liked that our casita had its own front porch. We were able to drink our coffee on the porch every morning and ended our evening the same way (great way to relax). Our casita was the perfect size for the 2 of us. We did have to adjust to how quiet it is in the area around the casitas. We live in a larger city in the United States, and it can get a little noisy at times. We found ourselves having to talk more quietly when we were on the front porch so as not to disturb our neighbors! Coronado is a nice place to visit, and Sarah’s casitas will make you feel right at home.
For anyone travelling to Coronado, I recommend you stay at Sarah’s casitas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Panama in the future."

"I spent a week with family in Playa La Barqueta and Nina's condo is the perfect place to stay. One may expect in a rental that the furnishings will be sub-par but in this condo, that is NOT the case. Each room is wonderfully furnished and uniquely decorated. This condo makes you feel at home. The kitchen has everything you'd want minus the actual food which can be bought at a local grocery store in David and the dishwasher and w/d were very nice to have. We had family staying elsewhere in Playa La Barqueta and they had several problems with their villa (incessant bugs INSIDE the villa; an inoperable washer/dryer; A/C not being efficient enough) but we had none of these problems at the condo. The condo is perfectly situated on the ground floor which is helpful when bringing in luggage and other items, and it is nice with the ocean breezes. Seriously, after playing tennis and also hanging out on the balcony, there must a 10 degree difference which is really refreshing. We visited in late May 2015 which is rainy season, and as we noticed, also a very quiet time of year. We basically had the common areas to ourselves, although be forewarned if you want to play tennis or have access to the sauna (even if there is literally nobody else around), the staff at Las Olas will initially say you must pay a fee (they told us $15/day), but once you provide the owners name they will grant you "access" via a wristband.
There is a lot to do in this area, even during quieter seasons such as late May. We walked on the beach, played tennis, swam in the pool and then spent most of our time elsewhere in and around Boquete. We hiked the highest peak in Panama (Volcan Baru), went ziplining at the Boquete Tree Trek, and did a coffee tour at Cafe Ruiz (with Carlos, an amazing tour guide). Overall, we just wish our stay in the area had been longer, but with that being said, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nina's condo or Playa La Barqueta for a nice, quiet, relaxing vacation literally ON the beach."

I don't "do" five stars, but this really was tremendous
"Our wonderful experience started with our communication with our hosts - Patty and Rudy. They responded to our questions within a few hours regardless of the day or time. They even helped us with things that were not really their responsibility by providing suggestions and coordinating transportation.
The condo was really nice. It was well appointed. We like to cook sometimes while on vacation and the kitchen had everything we needed, down to the vegetable peeler. We really felt like we landed in our own home when we arrived. Rudy provides excursions and does a really nice job of showing off his country.
We really enjoyed Patty, Rudy and their lovely home!"

"Can't say enough about Dave and Gundula's home and property. The house was beautiful and the property even better. Both Dave and Gundula were great hosts and good company. I would go back in a heartbeat."
