Amazing House - Beautiful Natural Setting - Wonderful Owners
"We have traveled to Bocas several times and are infatuated with Old Point. While it is a bit of a boat ride from town (which we consider a positive) it is a world of its own, with beautiful beaches, water and many natural attractions. The house is really amazing with an open breezy floor plan, full kitchen and direct beach access. The English speaking owners pick you up at the airport and give you time for shopping before heading out to the house. We enjoy cooking, so we bought a bunch of supplies and cooked many of our own meals. There are also several excellent options a short walk down the beach - Al Natural has excellent food and a wonderful staff. Casa Cayuco is another dining/drinking option, but it was closed for vacation while we were there. We didn't get a chance to check out the Zapatilla keys, but they are supposed to be ideal for diving and snorkeling. We will do that next time for sure! We did walk along the many miles of lush beaches in the area - which is pretty much all we need on vacation. If you are looking for more seclusion than town - and nice beaches, this house is a great option (note that beaches are public in Panama so the occasional person walks by). Also, the owners are fabulous and honest. We booked through VRBO and everything went 100% perfect!!!!"

"My family and I had such a great time at Marilyn and Jerry's home. The apt is very spacious. As everyone before me has said pictures don't do it justice. They have a big yard and pool. I have a 9 year old and 4 year old who enjoyed playing soccer and swimming. It's on the beach but, it is not recommended to swim in. We didn't have a problem with that because we ventured on the beach to catch crabs, see fish, and walk on huge rocks. To swim in the beach you have to travel about an 1hr away. Which we did and stayed on another property for this. The apt is well equipped. There is a washer and dryer which came in very hand. We rented a car to get around but, you can take taxi to explore the city. The rental is close to city but, recommend to drive back at certain times due to traffic. Marilyn and Jerry are knowledgeable about the area and can make recommendations to where to go and what to see. My family and I like to explore so I recommend to stay here after venturing out. We felt safe. Panama in general seems safe compared to other Central American countries. We had a wonderful experience. Both Marilyn and Jerry were such gracious hosts. Definitely will go back again!"

"I stayed at Chris and Maureen's condo for a month in July. It was amazing! The condo was very clean, well equipped with everything I needed (kitchen, linens, beach equipment, etc.), and in an awesome location. A few steps to the pool, beach, close to the Gorgona fish market, and the town of Coronado with grocery stores, restaurants, etc. I honestly loved my time at the condo, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the beaches of Panama."

"This place has all the amenities you could want in Bocas del Toro. The spacious home has two private units on the ground level with a shared patio. The open, modern floor plan was clean and spacious with a full kitchen as well as access to a washer and dryer. We enjoyed the location, which is centered between town (2 miles) and beach bluff. Although bicycles were available, we rented an ATV down the street, which was reasonably priced, making it easy to get around in both day and evenings. Sandi was a gracious host—friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. She has dogs for protection, as do most people owning property in Bocas. We enjoyed occasional cocktails on Sandi’s upper patio, and she helped us arrange several tours, which were highlights of our trip. We enjoyed the jungle feel of the area, including the howler monkeys, without giving up modern amenities."
