"Jungle spares no sun or humidity. If you're in love with mother nature then you are in for a treat. Just getting there is an adventure drive. Lots of mangos, bananas, palm trees, ect. Once off the main road your in a completely different world than Panama city its self. Some locals have been there for generations. Small towns filled with life. People crossing the street as there is no tomorrow. Small stores filled with necessities. The idea of you in the middle of no where is everywhere. The road continues to get narrow. The last two left turns you make and the lonely road is all yours driving along side the mountains. Exotic birds fly before you as you look left and right grasping all greenery. Once there you will see a small baseball field type field and small houses wondering how in the world can you live in such secluded place where only birds and the bees care to roam. Once in the house, very nice well taken care of place. Everything you need except hot water. Pay no mind to no hot water. No need. It's hot and humid. Bats will fly around. A little larger than we are use to. Pay no mind there either. They are the masters of the night sky. The local parrots will sure to wake you around 530am. You will see fairly large lizards and iguanas from tree to tree. Take a camera. Memory sometimes forgets the that you see so much nature in every way. I counted 10 moth speices...one gecko with a chuncky tail, kinda beige. Countless birds. Butterflies so beautiful, you would want to become one. I can't thank Ed (host) for the opportunity like this. Yadira the care taker introduced me to her family and I'm speachless for her and their generosity. The river in which it is on is abundance of life. My 3 day stay does not give me the right to opinion on how this one small town in the middle of nowhere got me to see the bigger picture in a smaller world. Im going back for more asap!!!"

"Where do I start? As soon as you walk off the water taxi into the chaos of bocas town, and think you need a taxi? Don't! Just ask any local and they can point you in the right direction. Bocas is a walking town and just a couple short blocks away is the tranquility of Bocas Condos. Ring the bell and James or one of his attentive staff members will greet you as you enter the front garden. My condo was clean, comfortable and well decorated, as the pictures show. The air conditioner, cable tv and wifi all worked, just like home, which was important for me as I stayed for 17 days. All this within 2 blocks of the main park and restaurants/nightlife. The night clubs are loud well into the mornings, so it was nice being off the strip. Those couple blocks make a big difference if you like to sleep. I live in Panama and will definitely be back. Thankyou James and Staff"

"When we were thinking of a vacation somewhere not so hot in July, Panama was not at the top the list, now it is thanks to the beautiful and peacefully charm of Valle Escondido. The accommodations were first class and when the homeowner gave us great information of what to do, she forgot to say "Maybe you just might want to sit out on covered lanai in a pleasant 78 degrees with the sounds of running waterfalls and enjoy the chirping birds" because we did that alot also. The restaurant at the Country Club with Master Chef Chris was also a fantastic surprise. Normally you think of Country Club food as bland and tasteless, but here it is anything like that. We ate at least one meal a day there, and each was better than other. The Golf Course was short, but in perfect shape and very difficult. Outside lanai the hole is 138 yards long, with the only thing separating the very elevated tee and green is the running river, whose noise we so enjoyed, along with watching the other golfers shot their balls into the river. 10 minute walk to town, perfect weather and great accommodations make this one of our favorites places yet on VRBO and we have stayed at many. "We loved the place. Its halfway to Downtown Boquete and to David.
A full cabin for ourselves, with a driveway. Very private
I loved the pool and the backyard... with chairs for you to delight on the amazing view!"
