  • CORONADO BAY 17TH FLOOR - PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!

"My wife and I recently stayed at this condo and it was perfect. The unit was clean and Lynda and her son (our host) was very welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to stay in this unit in the near future. You will not be disappointed."

  • Fabulous experience

"We rented this condo for a month this past Winter and our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. The property was wonderful and Ken (the owner) was great to deal with. The setting is not only beautiful, but quiet and secluded as well. With more than 50 condos on the property we were amazed that we had the pool pretty much to ourselves most of the day prior to about 3:00 PM. Everything you could want or need is available in the condo, and all is in good order. The location is rather secluded and you will definitely want to have a car of your own, not only to explore the country, but also to go out for meals and all forms of shopping. There are a couple of restaurants within a short walking distance but you will certainly want to extend your experiences beyond this. David offers some nice food markets and restaurants, and the prices are some of the best you will see anywhere. Exploring Panama can be an exciting experience and you will need patience. If you are a hesitant driver you will require therapy when you return home. Panamanian drivers are a challenge to deal with and you will need to be aggressive to cope successfully. Also quite problematic is the fact that a very high percentage of streets have no signs, so you will seldom know where you are and maps and map programs for your GPS will most likely not serve you very well. Also you will find that English is not spoken by many locals, even those who deal in different segments of the 'tourist' industry. Overall I can only give a 5 star rating to the property and owner. If you are seeking a quiet, tropical, relaxing atmosphere, this is the place to be!"

  • “Patty's Casitas Amador location nearest Amador Causeway expansion.”

"Patty's Casitas Amador location nearest Amador Causeway expansion. Panama is even more interesting and enjoyable this time in Nov. 2014.  Our stay at  Patty's Casitas on the Amador Causeway allowed us to see all the extensive work going on to evolve this area near the Canal, into a Tourist Destination.  Frank Gehry's World Famous Biodiversity Museum is finished. A walking excursion, bike ride or short taxi ride out the causeway, bring  major surprises, as new places and things, just completed,  appear. The Yacht Harbor and Beach are still to come. For greater access to the Causeway Islands, the single narrow road, is being widened to 2 lanes going each way, using fill dirt from the New Canal Operation. In addition, the waterway approach to the canal will bring Cruise S  hips tying up directly by the Walkway, in front of Hotels and Casinos soon to be added. Of course, more Restaurants and Shops will be opening.  The ferry boats leave from right in front of the Balboa Yacht Club, only 2 blocks from the Condo and the Albrook Airport is only 10 minutes away by Taxi, so we used the Amador condo as a "base", to take a few side trips to Pedasi, Iguana Island, and Contadora in the Pearl Island Chain.  The artists version can be seen on You Tube by searching "Nuevo Amador" in Panama. Now, Patty and Rudy's Amador Condo is right where all these goings on are happening and it's only going to get better. Please see our 2013 review under Patty's Casitas, about the amenities of the Amador Condo where we have loved to stay for 3 years now. Also see our review under Rudy's Tours about the New Canal Tour."

  • Every day is indeed beautiful

"There is no question that that everyday is a beautiful day in Valle Escondido. From the first morning when we awoke to the birds chirping and the sun shining to the last night when they set off fireworks just for us as it was out last night - OK apparently there was a wedding happening - it was a wonderful experience. We spent 5 weeks here and loved every minute. Boquete is a small town so do not expect fancy stores or a lot of tourist things to do. It is a place to just enjoy life and the wonderful surroundings. Everyone is very friendly and it is a very safe place to be if you are at all worried about travelling in Central America. The casa is comfortable, well equipped with everything you will need to cook your own meals, and the huge patio is furnished with comfortable seating to enjoy the view and birdlife. It does not get much better than this."
