  • Highly Recommend!!

"My husband and I were looking to explore Panama and this beachfront condo was the perfect choice! Having been to Panama for several vacations this place met our expectations and more! Within walking distance from the beach it was perfect to pick up and go for long walks (which is safe to walk for miles) or for a quick swim in the ocean to cool off. The condo is only an hour away from Panama City and the property is very well kept. The condo was super clean equipped with a full kitchen, a/c, washer/ dryer, workout room, pool and everything you need to relax. The weather was PERFECT… SUNSHINE and 30 degrees everyday! This place is also near to Coronado for local groceries (5 min drive). The best experience has been the owners that have been very nice and quick to respond to any questions we had. We definitely will return!"

  • NYE In Panama

"My husband and I welcomed in 2015 on a sandy beach in Playa Serena, listening to the waves and watching the incredible fireworks under swaying palm trees. Yes, it was pretty much perfect! We rented Steve & Diane's condo for a month and thoroughly had a great time. All the amenities of home were provided, wi fi, magic jack, cable, dvd's and a well appointed kitchen. The bonus was having almost immediate access to the beach, the long walks every morning kept us in shape and the continuous dips in the ocean and pool were so refreshing. It became a tradition with a few of us to bring cocktails and appies and meet on the beach at 5:30 for the sunset, not to hard to take. Shopping and restaurants are only a 10 minute car ride and we discovered some good local spots as well, check out the fish market in Gorgona, excellent sea bass and shrimp. Spectacular views abound, day trips to Valle, Panama City and other attractions are very convenient. If you are looking for a relaxing, get-away-from-it-all spot, this is it."

  • Good location for exploring Panama City

"Great views of the Bay and Panama's skyline from every room. Within walking distance of a large mall and lots of restaurants. The roof top pool always had sufficient lounge chairs for everyone and the area has two barbeques for resident use. The gym is well equipped and available for all tenants. A two or three dollar cab ride will get you to most locations downtown. The islands on the causeway will be about $15:00. Mararita, the land lady was very helpful in answering all our questions and was quick to bring a new toaster when we noted the absence of one. When we experienced a 24 hour power outage she was as concerned as we were if not more so. To repay us for the inconvenience she and her daughter took us out for Sunday brunch at a beautiful resort. Our only complaint, coming from a small town, was the traffic noise coming from busy Avenida Balboa, and some of the furniture is in need of updating. Overall we enjoyed our four week stay."

  • Wonderful experience

"We stayed here last month for five days and absolutely loved it, for the following reasons: Quick and easy booking; Adriana responded to our booking request within a day for last minute booking. Upon hearing we were spending the wknd in Panama City before Pearl Islands, she suggested we pick up a few items from the mainland if we would want to cook, need anything for our stay (very limited grocer options) She greeted us at the main port area/also the airstrip and took us on a brief island tour to point out key interests before taking us to the well-appointed villa. Everything was above and beyond. Both Adriana and Jerry were friendly, comfortable folks whom you feel like you've known for a long time... It was the details that truly set them apart. We mentioned we couldn't get eggs from the market and they gave us some of their own. They provided us a large jug of water for the in-house water machine for market price of $8 and set up an island tour right from the beach in from of the villa. They checked in on us enough with the right balance, as others have mentioned. There was really nothing more we could've wanted."

Panama Travel Tips

Getting to Panama Vacation Rentals

The Tocumen International Airport in Panama City is located not far from the city center. Because of the rapid expansion of the city in recent decades, roads and traffic can be particularly chaotic and you need to allow for additional time to get to and from the airport. Panama City Airport hosts most major North American, South American and European Airlines. There are regular daily scheduled flights that link Panama City with other major cities in the United States and neighboring countries. If you are traveling to a region outside of Panama City such as Bocas Del Toro, you will need to get a domestic connection from the Marcos A. Gelabert Regional Airport. This is the airport that hosts most regional flights to the rest of Panama. In Panama, the best way to get around is by taxi. Car rental is not recommended unless you are traveling in more remote areas.

Panama Travel Attractions

The Panama Canal is a major engineering feat and one of the country’s biggest attractions. You can visit the Miaflores Visitors Center and join a guided tour explaining the history, construction and modern-day operations of the canal. Then while enjoying lunch or a cup of coffee at the restaurant, you can watch the locks operating and see the ships passing through. Half-day and full-day cruises on the canal will take you through a number of locks.

Panama City has a number of interesting landmarks and museums. Most are open throughout the year and provide interesting and unique insights into Panama’s history and culture. Unfortunately, not all museums have both English and Spanish transcriptions on their exhibits so it is sometimes useful to have a Spanish-speaking guide with you. The Old City is known as the Panama-Viejo. This is original site of the first settlement in Panama. The city was once a base for Spanish conquests but was destroyed by fire in 1671 when it came under attack of the famous English pirate Henry Morgan. The historical heart of Panama City is the Casco-Viejo. Here, you can see some colonial architectural masterpieces. Browse the shops and enjoy a cup of coffee at one of the street cafés.

The Bocas Del Toro Archipelago is a group of islands that is a marine paradise. Home to the first nature reserve in Panama, the islands offer a quiet retreat where you can forget all about corporate city life for a while. There are excellent diving and snorkeling on the islands. Many have great beach breaks and are popular surfing spots. Birdwatching is a favorite pastime and you can spend many leisurely hours on the beachfront.

Stylish Comforts at Panama Beach Houses

If you want a truly relaxing vacation then rent one of the beach houses in Panama. Enjoy a quiet rural ambience and have a vacation where you can put your feet up and do whatever you please. Stroll down to the local restaurant for lunch and enjoy a home-cooked seafood meal. In the evening, you can enjoy sundowners on the deck as the sun sets behind you. The homes are either cozy cottages or more spacious homes depending on your rental requirements. Living areas are comfortable and rooms are tastefully furnished.

Seasons to Visit Bocas Del Toro Vacation Rentals in Panama

The dry season in Panama occurs between February and April and again between September and October. This coincides with the more popular tourist season. In general, Panama experiences a year-round warm tropical climate with average annual temperatures around 82 degrees Fahrenheit.
