  • A wonderful holiday in Tuscany

"Suberb location in the centre of San Gimignano with marvellous views from the sitting room overlooking Piazza Duomo. The apartment was well appointed and extremely clean, it felt more like a home than a holiday let with many pictures and decorative items adorning the walls. The apartment has been sympathetically and cleverly modernised maintaining a typical Tuscan feel, all furnishings are of a good quality and extremely tasteful. The location is ideally situated as a base to explore Siena, Florence, Voltera, Lucca, Pisa and many other villages within the surrounding beautiful countryside. A car is not really necassary as the public transport is excellent, bus timetables are available from the very helpful Tourist Information Office which is a two minute walk across the Piazza from the apartment. All communication with the owner via email was superb with helpful and very prompt response. We will definately be returning to stay in this beautiful apartment."

  • Highly recommend

"Beautiful villa! Seven of us spent a glorious week in this truly remarkable villa. The grounds are amazing with a beautiful pool, outdoor seating (where we spent our evenings eating and drinking French wine!) and lavender fields. Step inside and you’re transcended to a perfect balance of an authentic French villa tastefully updated to provide modern day comforts (top notch appliances and plumbing). The villa is incredibly spacious with a large, well-equipped, modern kitchen and seating area, a beautiful winding stone stairway, spacious bedrooms, a cozy sitting area and large, beautiful windows that provide wonderful light and great views of the property. The pictures truly don’t do this villa justice and it exceeded all of our expectations. Houria, the housekeeper, was gracious and hospitable and stopped by everyday to do light cleaning. We used this location as our base and traveled to many towns, all within an 1-1.5 hour drive, including St. Remy, Cassis, Avignon, Aix, Bonnieux, LaCoste, Pont du Gard and Lourmarin. Pelissanne is a short 10 minute drive with a grocery and local restaurants. The owner was very responsive and provided a very helpful package of information about the surrounding areas, including local markets and restaurants. This villa will not disappoint and all of us highly recommend a stay."

  • Excellent and cozy apartment in Paris

"Great stay in a very convenient location - a few minutes' walk to 2 metro stations. Antoinette was there to welcome us even though we arrived at her place past 9:30 pm due to a train delay. The apartment was self sufficient and we had everything we needed for a lovely relaxed week in Paris. The bottle of wine on our first night was a great touch! Thank you :)"
