  • Charming Property!

"The apartment is located in an excellent area. It is well-kept and charming. The supermarket and lovely restaurants are just a few steps away. Of course, the terrace was a real bonus. My friends and I sat out and enjoyed a glass of wine until the early hours."

  • Family Stay in Early July

"My family (wife and two teenage daughters) and I stayed in here for six nights. The place is clean, comfortable, safe, and I think is actually bigger than it looks in the pictures. The location cannot be better. For those with Rick Steve's Amsterdam book, it is on his "walk through Jordan" tour just down from the Electric Ladyland (worth the visit although I didn't expect it to be). The street is quiet with an excellent Afghani restaurant just across the street and another excellent restaurant down the street called De Reiger (and recommended in Rick Steve's book, although we didn't know that until after we ate there.) The house is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Anne Frank House and the tram stops (the easiest way to get around town for the tired tourist). The house was redone not too long ago, so the stove, dishwasher, and the kitchen ware are all like new. It also has a washer and dryer that either isn't advertised or I missed it when booking, so that was a nice surprise. Rick was very welcoming and waited for us to arrive even though we were delayed due to traffic and wrong turns. He showed us around the house; pointed out the nearby restaurants, pubs, and the quickest way to tram stops; gave us information on his favorite Indonesian restaurant (try to make time for it); and arranged for a taxi to the airport (for four, it is about the same cost as public transportation) when it was time to leave. He was available for questions during the week, if necessary. He even mailed my daughter's lanyard that she left to us in the US. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay."

  • Beautiful apartment

"We spent a wonderful week in Paris. Our apartment was very well equipped and very clean. It had everything you need. It was tastefully decorated. Views from the windows over the city were spectacular. Carole was very friendly and helpful. We will recommend this apartment to our friends. I hope we get to come here again next year. Thank you Carole. Vietimme suurenmoisen viikon Pariisissa. Asuntomme oli erittäin hyvin varusteltu ja hyvin siisti. Siellä oli kaikki mitä tarvitsee.Se oli kalustettu hyvällä maulla. Näkymät ikkunoista yli kaupungin olivat upeat. Carole oli hyvin ystävällinen ja auttavainen. Tulemme suosittelemaan tätä asuntoa ystävillemme. Toivottavasti pääsemme ensi vuonna uudestaan. Kiitos Carole"

Traveling to Austria

The main airport in Austria is the Wien Schwechat International Airport. The airport is located approximately 11 miles southeast of Vienna. To get from the airport into the Vienna city center takes approximately 30 minutes by train. There are also shuttle buses and taxis that provide alternate transportation methods. The cities of Saltzburg, Innsbruck, Linz and Klagenfurt also have regional airports that receive flights from other European cities. If you are planning a ski trip to Austria, many of the ski packages use Much in Germany as the main travel hub.
