  • Perfect apartment in a perfect location!!

"Philippe's apartment was exactly what we were looking for! It is warm, spacious, and full of light - even during the very rainy week we were there. There are wonderful neighborhood cafes and bistros, along with the Buci market and a Carrefours supermarket one block away. We walked to all of the major sights, including the Eiffel Tower and the Marais district. Several Metro stations are close by and access to the RER for travel to and from the airport was extremely convenient. Gaining access to the apartment after a long flight was very simple thanks to the lockbox. Philippe and his local contact, Veronique, made the whole process hassle-free. Do pack light - the stairs are impressive! But they add to the charm and result in a fabulous view of the Eiffel Tower over the rooftops of Paris. We would highly recommend Phillipe's place and hope to return some day!"

  • Perfect place for our family

"We (two adults, two boys ages 10 & 12) spent two nights in the apartment at the end of our Italian vacation and it was just want we had hoped for--well located, quiet, plenty of space. The map and tips that Furio gave us upon arrival were helpful and much appreciated. We walked all over Venice and had a great location to "come home" to for a rest before dinner. As others have said, you can hear the opera singers warming up before the evening performance which added to the Venice mystique. Highly recommended."

  • The crème de la crème in Aix-en-Provence

"My wife and I recently spent three memorable weeks in this gorgeous rental apartment. The moment we spotted the hand-made "Bienvenue en Provence" sign mounted by the front door, with a bright-yellow sunflower painted on it, we knew we were going to have a pleasant experience. The ambience of this apartment, which seemed more like a "villa" to us, is très Provençal. We've never stayed in a rental apartment (in Paris, or anywhere else) that was more user-friendly, and so well-equipped with everything from kitchen appliances, utensils, cookware, dishes, and glassware; to linens, tablecloths, and other household supplies. We appreciated the many special touches by the owner, whose tastes are impeccable, because they made the place feel like a cozy "home-away-from-home" throughout our stay. The location of the apartment, on the Cours Mirabeau, could not be more convenient. And we especially enjoyed the patio/terrace area, with its plants and shrubbery, because it made us feel as if we were surrounded by the peace and quiet of a secret garden. Security and access to the apartment complex are excellent, although we had no need to use the garage; and the owner responded quickly via email and/or telephone to resolve any issues that arose during our stay. The only disappointment we suffered was when we had to leave our little "Shangri-La" in the south of France! We highly recommend this apartment, with no reservations whatsoever. Our heart-felt thanks go to Valerie for sharing her little piece of paradise with us, and we look forward to a return engagement in the future."
