Great Find! Beautiful Apartment in Amazing Location.
"We spent a fairytale romantic week (our honeymoon) in this wonderful apartment. The photos are a perfect representation and it is the perfect place to call home. While we felt transported back in time, so appropriate for the haunting beautiful Old Town (lesser town) section of Prague, we also had all the modern conveniences. The shower even was comfortable for my 6'6" husband, which is not typical in many hotels and apt's in Europe! While the location is "right in the heart of things" it was very quiet in the evening. Almost every night we took a late night stroll across the St. Charles bridge when most of the other tourists were gone. So Romantic. Peter even arranged transportation to & from airport, so we never needed a car the whole week. Best vacation ever!!!"

"My family (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed at Melantrichova for 6 nights. I can't say enough good things about the apartment! First of all, Dana was great to work with - she is extremely responsive and helpful. Her property manager, Radek, arranged transportation from the airport and escorted us from the taxi to the apartment. He was very helpful in telling us how all the appliances worked, etc. The apartment is gracious, clean, and very well-equipped. It is prettier than the photos! The location is amazing - just off the old town square, and in the heart of the oldest part of Prague. I am a light sleeper, and there was a little bit of street noise which bothered me slightly. Earplugs solved this problem very easily. The other members of my family had no trouble with the noise. Also, as other reviewers have said, there are a few flights of stairs up to the apartment. It's not a difficult climb, but if you have trouble with stairs, you should be aware. We loved a couple of restaurants that are literally just around the corner - Mlejnice (for good Czech food) and Pizza Giovanni (yummy lasagna and pizza). They are both pretty inexpensive with good quality food. Also enjoyed great meals at Cafe Louvre and Pastar. Some highlights of our trip: National Theatre (we went to see a ballet - very cheap, and beautiful), free walking tour Prague and day trip to Kutna Hora both with Discover Prague Tours (really interesting, especially the bone church), the Jewish Quarter (very moving). We also went to Vysehrad (historical park/fort in Prague). Just walking around in Prague is a treat - it is such a lovely city. I don't think you can make a better choice of apartment than this one!"
