  • Lovely flat, but...

"Four couples stayed here for a week in October 2014. We were delighted with the location of the flat and it’s proximity to the tube, shopping and restaurants. Everything others have said about the location is true. The style and furnishings of the flat are as represented in the listing; the downstairs bathroom was wonderful. However, the flat is not big enough for 8 adults. The main living/dining area is lovely but there is not enough seating area for all 8 people to sit comfortably. We were tripping over each other when we were all together on the main floor. More significantly, the 4th bedroom (not pictured in the listing) has 2 very uncomfortable twin beds and is located in the same room as the washer and dryer, making it both undesirable as a bedroom and inconvenient as a laundry. In addition, there was no hot water in one of the upstairs bathrooms and water that was sometimes there and sometimes not in the other, although, to be fair, this may have been fixable if we had taken the time to tell the property manager about this. Both of the bedrooms at the front of the flat had considerable road noise. On the plus side, internet was great!"

  • Wonderful stay at Handel Street apartment

"My wife and I stayed at the Handel Street flat for three weeks from late November to early December, 2014. It was perfect for us, comfortable, well-appointed, and well-maintained. Bob met us when we arrived and gave us a good briefing on the heating, appliances, and Internet. The WiFi is great—it let us check hours/locations of sites, the weather forecast, Transport for London and rail websites including Underground/bus delays, and e-mail family. The location of the flat is extremely convenient, on a quiet street close to main bus routes and tube stations including Russell Square, St. Pancras/Kings Cross, and Euston. The Oyster travel card (tube, bus, overground, and some rail) is a must. There are restaurants, pubs, and shopping close-by at the Brunswick Square center and on Marchmont, Woburn, and Hunter Streets, including a Waitrose supermarket which provided many convenient and inexpensive meals. The location is close to the British Museum, British Library, Dickens Museum and the many squares and small parks of Bloomsbury. The area feels very secure with many students and residents out during the day and evening. This flat very quickly became our home-away-from home. Bob and Sue were very thoughtful and provided us with some starter food items and their communication emails were professional and timely. We are anticipating a return visit!"

  • Perfect Flat & Location!!

"We had a FANTASTIC time in London and absolutely loved the location of this flat. This is a great spot and convenient to everything. We walked to Piccadilly Circus (right outside the door), Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, etc. Whole Foods and Tesco is a short walk away. All of the mgmt. was excellent. 6 adults (3 couples) stayed for 5 nights. We would definitely recommend!"
