  • Beautiful flat in London

"We had a wonderful stay in this flat while we were in London for 2 months. The location was perfect and within walking distance to the tube and many bus stops. It is a 10 minute walk to Portobello where there are a ton of great shops, restaurants and pubs. There is a great market and deli that we went to almost every day for coffee and breakfast. The flat itself was lovely and very efficient. The decor is very cute and very kid friendly. There was a pac n play, highchair and a bunch of toys and books for the kids to use. Bunty and Ian are the nicest people and were so hospitable. We would not stay anywhere else when we come back. We miss it already."

  • Great holiday home for our first family holiday away

"We had a great time in Deal at this holiday home. It was our first family holiday with our eight month old and travel cot, stair gate and high chair were all supplied which made our jaunt away far easier. There's also plenty of toys and books to keep littles ones occupied for hours. The holiday home is great and we loved the decor - very different to our home so we really felt we were in a special place and it added to our holiday vibe. The downstairs is particularly stunning in the morning when the sunlight streams in - being open plan, it was also lovely to be able to see our little one happily playing in the living room area whilst we prepared breakfast in the kitchen. We planned to have a BBQ but sadly the weather turned so we couldn't but the garden would be a wonderful place to have one! Deal itself was lovely. A great mix of shops, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. We became daily visitors to JC Rooks Butchers and the sausages from The Black Pig were particularly delicious! We also went on a couple of nice walks further afield. One to Kingsdown where we enjoyed a drink outside The Zetland (Appears to have had a recent revamp and was very busy on the weekend so if you want to eat there would recommend booking in advance). Another walk took us to Sandwich which was about 6.5miles and very pleasant if somewhat tough at times with an urban pram over slightly tougher terrain (we enjoyed a lovely Italian dinner at Luigis, a picnic in the park by The Salutation and our daughter enjoyed her second ever go on the swings too!). We also took the train to Ramsgate one day and then walked to Broadstairs, stopping in Ramsgate by the harbour to enjoy a cuppa whilst we gave our daughter her lunch and then a later stop off by Louise Bay for a picnic for us. Broadstairs was lovely and we enjoyed a walk around the front, a perusal of the shops and later dinner at Samworth + Mee (great steak and burger!). All in all, a lovely week away!"

  • Perfect London Stay!

"Our family of six (4 adults and 2 children) found Marina's "sunswept loft" to be the perfect home away from home while visiting London. The location of the house was perfect- next to a beautiful park, walking distance to the tube, Portabello Road (and iconic market), and interesting little neighborhood shops and restaurants. The #7 bus stopped right outside our door! The house itself was spacious with plenty of comfortable sleeping room and an open-concept first floor kitchen/dining/living area that was decorated nicely but was easy to relax in. All of the appliances were new and in good working order. The bathrooms were light and spacious and served us well for getting ready in the morning. In fact, the entire house was well ventilated and "sunswept" and even in the warm summer temperatures (80s), it was quite cool with just the occasional use of the fans provided. All in all, we decided that we would stay there again, if we came to London with a group. It was wonderful!"
