Amazing Flat and Location
"This is an amazing flat. There is nothing missing from this flat. All the comforts of home were provided. The decorating was exquisite and the extras were appreciated. The location was wonderful. We were close to the tube, shopping, and most areas we wanted to explore. We enjoyed being near Bond street, Saville Row and Oxford Street. The pictures were perfect and the flat was exactly as we expected, even better. There were many restaurants and places to eat nearby. I would totally recommend this place for a family getaway and would stay here again next time we go to London."

"My son and I stayed at this flat in Kensington. The decor charming and relaxed. The garden lovely. Lots of nice pubs (particularly the Pembroke on Old Brompton Rd) and restaurants in the area, and a quick walk to the underground. Nice television in the living room. The only down side is that the bath tubs are unusually high thus making stepping in and out somewhat difficult even a bit risky."

"Our family (2 adults/2 kids between 10 and 15) stayed in this flat and were very pleased. The bedroom setup was perfect for us, the laundry was immensely helpful and easy to use, and the kitchen afforded us the opportunity to eat a good breakfast before heading out for a long, wonderful day of sightseeing. The location was just what we had hoped -- close enough to the city center, while giving us a more residential feel. Access to the tube and busses was easy and convenient. David was readily available with tips and communication in advance of the trip, and (since the wifi worked wonderfully), he responded right away to my two email exchanges with him while we were there. We often bought tickets to sights online (using our iPad), and then had no trouble showing our barcoded reservations on the smartphone once there -- it saved us a fair amount of money.
I would note that there was the regular rumble of a nearby train (no whistles, just "clickety-clacks"), but I rather enjoyed the sound -- and I am not a light sleeper. We even slept with the windows open at times because we enjoyed the fresh, cooler air. This location is certainly quieter than the city center, but light sleepers might want ear plugs.
You do need to plan for things like shampoo, soap and other personal toiletries, but I would check out what is there (we left, for instance, almost an entire box of laundry detergent) before buying duplicates at the store.
I would definitely recommend this flat and would come again. It felt like home after our week there. Thanks for everything, David!"
