  • Best stay in London so far!

"Our hosts were superb! The flat was even better than the photos, everything in pristine condition, clean, and equipped with everything necessary for a 2 week stay. The location is perfect for us: easy walk to bus and tube, short walk to the British Museum, the Wellcome Collection, the Petrie Museum, and the British Library, and convenient to train stations. Many good restaurants in the area: the local pub, Skinners Arms' friendly staff fed us on a couple of evenings, Andy's Taverna (Greek) was a short bus ride north, and Waitrose, a block away, had everything we needed for meals in the flat (including some wonderful prepared food and a new cheese section!). Salt and Pepper, near the British Museum on Bloomsbury Street (across from Oxfam!) fed us several delicious and inexpensive lunches. The location is convenient to everything, but on a side street so very quiet, especially at night. I'm a very light sleeper, but the exceptionally comfortable bed and the quiet (garden and trees out the window), gave me restful nights. The park at the end of the street is a lovely oasis of calm in the city. The best thing about our stay, however, was our wonderful hosts. They met us on arrival (and were willing to accommodate us on an earlier than arranged arrival time!), explained everything about the flat and neighborhood to us (and left us with a very helpful red notebook which had everything written down in it for forgetful guests), and they were at the other end of the phone when we encountered something not in the book. We visit London on a regular basis and this was by far, our best stay yet! We look forward to returning soon."

  • Spring Break in a wonderful family friendly flat in a perfect location

"Our three boys, age 14, 12 and 10, loved this rental and as a result, loved this spring break. Jenny the owner was very responsive and knowledgeable. Her property manager met us at the flat and was very nice and attentive. The flat is well appointed, with a wonderful walk out deck overseeing Cromwell Place. All of this plus the BEST neighborhood for families. You have museum row right down the street, Kensington Square with great restaurants and people watching AND a primary tube station right across the street. This area is very diverse, with fabulous French bakeries within 1 minute walking and great ethnic food. Grocery store is also right down the street. And, not to forget, a classic pub right across the street from the flat so you can sit outside with your pint and keep an eye out for the kids. What more could you want?"

City of London Travel Tips

City of London Apartments Are Better than Hotels

City of London holiday rentals offer a fun and interesting adventure. While a hotel can be a nice change of pace occasionally, renting an apartment during your stay may be one of the best decisions you make when it comes to choosing a place to stay. While hotels can be cold and impersonal, especially for those who aren't familiar with London, staying in London vacation rentals can give visitors the warm feeling of home. It can also keep them from being overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of other tourists.

Stay Alone or Share the Experience with Friends

Many vacationers come to get away from their daily lives alone or as a couple. In fact, City of London apartments offer a great place for a honeymoon or romantic trip for just the two of you. Still, there are often some who would prefer to share the experience, and costs, with a group of friends. There are many City of London apartments that are set up to accommodate as many as five to eight people.

Every Attraction You Could Want and More

London is known for having a plethora of attractions to suit the tastes of everyone who comes to visit. One can visit the National Opera House to immerse themselves in music. The museums are too numerous to name, but The Tate and the British Museum are both just a few minutes away from anywhere in the city via the underground subway. Every type of food that one would ever want to try can be found near City of London holiday rentals. Pasta houses seem to be a current trend and can be found everywhere, according to those who have been recently. G. Franco's Pasta House is one of the most popular pasta houses in the area.
