  • Fantastic Location

"This two bedroom apartment is in such a central location - two blocks off Trafalgar Square, two blocks south of Picadilly Circus. Perfect timing on our arrival and very helpful lady let us into our unit which has its own private elevator which fits two people max. Bright and light two bedroom apartment. The king size bedroom faced the street which was not too much of a noise problem as the street which is busy during the day becomes quiet at night, however, the mattress on the bed seemed very hard so my husband and I used this bedroom for our clothes, dressing and laying out our England purchases, and slept in the smaller bedroom at the back of the hall. The twin beds in that room were super comfortable and the big window let in a lovely breeze. There were several fans in the apartment which would be useful if it was a warm summer week. There was lots of space to put things (something I can't say about some of the apartments in London we have rented) so the place was uncluttered and clean. Great bathroom. Again, we were so close to the West End theaters we could walk home every evening and also, St. James Square, around the corner, was a lovely private park, open on the week days, that was lovely to walk through on the way to Piccadilly. I loved getting food at the Marks and Spencers at Green Park, which is just a few blocks along Piccadilly."

  • Perfect place for a London vacation!

"Our family (kids ages 8 and 10) spent a wonderful week in this flat. The location is really amazing! It is just steps to the Tower Hill tube station, from where we could easily go anywhere by tube (we got Oyster cards for the week). It was so convenient! The Tower of London is also a short walk away, and we loved visiting the Tower and walking by every time we went out! Lots of good restaurants and a very nice grocery store are nearby. Empress of India was our favorite Indian Restaurant (they are a short walk away but they also deliver!). In addition to the perfect location, the flat was such a great place for us. The views are wonderful and everything we could think of was inside the flat (from the well stocked kitchen to extra guidebooks, hair dryers, umbrellas and more!). We loved having the washer/dryer right there in the unit. Amanda has been such a pleasure to work with- thank you so much for all your help and for always taking the time to answer our many questions. We really highly recommend this flat and are hoping to come back ourselves for another vacation!"

  • Chelsey Luxury Garden Quiet Apartment

"Great place to stay! Convenient to bus stops to travel to South Kensington, Kensington High Street, or Gloucester Road Tube stops. Handy grocery shop on the Kings Road. The apartment is well furnished and appointed and is well represented by the photos on the website. However, the bedroom TV never did work properly. The apartment has two floors and so would be unsuitable for anyone who cannot manage stairs. The services provided by the apartment managers were excellent. They were always quick to respond. Great stay and I would recommend this rental to others."

  • The Perfect "Home Away From Home"!

"I had an enjoyable stay in this great flat. Although a one bedroom, it was very spacious and comfortable, and well maintained. The Building is quiet and clean, and has a (small) lift. The King Size bed was comfy and there is plenty of closet space (unlike previous flats in which I've stayed). There is an 'off the wall' bed in the living room also. It's a corner unit, so lots of light, and a nice cross breeze as well with windows in each room. The kitchen has everything you'll need including glassware, flatware, pots and pans, electric tea kettle, etc. The bathroom is large, and has plenty of hot water and amazing water pressure. The building is adjacent to the St. James's Park Underground. It was very convenient for the journey from Heathrow. Victoria Street is close by, so many buses available if you prefer not to use the Underground. Victoria Station is one tube stop away, a few minutes by bus, or a short walk. There are several pubs within a 2-3 minute walk, and a pub directly across the road as well as a Starbucks. And, loads of nice restaurants nearby, and shops to pick up freshly made sandwiches, coffee, and other prepared snacks. Directly below the building there is a nice convenience store for newspapers, snacks, beverages (even wine and beer) and other incidentals including post cards. There is a post office close by where you can purchase stamps and mail post cards. The flat is located within walking distance to many of the popular London attractions including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and Westminster Cathedral, Big Ben, London Eye, Cabinet War Rooms, Parliament and St. James's Park where you can feed the ducks. The owner is very nice and such a pleasure deal with. I highly recommend this flat for a London stay -- and will certainly stay here again."

City of London Travel Tips

City of London Apartments Are Better than Hotels

City of London holiday rentals offer a fun and interesting adventure. While a hotel can be a nice change of pace occasionally, renting an apartment during your stay may be one of the best decisions you make when it comes to choosing a place to stay. While hotels can be cold and impersonal, especially for those who aren't familiar with London, staying in London vacation rentals can give visitors the warm feeling of home. It can also keep them from being overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of other tourists.

Stay Alone or Share the Experience with Friends

Many vacationers come to get away from their daily lives alone or as a couple. In fact, City of London apartments offer a great place for a honeymoon or romantic trip for just the two of you. Still, there are often some who would prefer to share the experience, and costs, with a group of friends. There are many City of London apartments that are set up to accommodate as many as five to eight people.

Every Attraction You Could Want and More

London is known for having a plethora of attractions to suit the tastes of everyone who comes to visit. One can visit the National Opera House to immerse themselves in music. The museums are too numerous to name, but The Tate and the British Museum are both just a few minutes away from anywhere in the city via the underground subway. Every type of food that one would ever want to try can be found near City of London holiday rentals. Pasta houses seem to be a current trend and can be found everywhere, according to those who have been recently. G. Franco's Pasta House is one of the most popular pasta houses in the area.
