  • Loved the location!

"My family of four spent the last week of March here and loved it. Holly is wonderful--so easy to reserve through Paypal. She met us at the flat and spent time with us acclimating us to it and area. She sent an email midweek to be sure all was fine and she even sent us an email on Saturday to be sure we knew Daylight Savings Time started that night (weeks after the US!). The unit is a basement apartment but still bright during the day. There is no picture of the second bedroom--it is large with a queen bed and a twin with trundle underneath so 6 can sleep very comfortably in the flat. Living room has a door which came in handy when my kids watched a movie late at night--I couldn't hear it from bedroom. Kitchen also had a door to block out washing machine or dishwasher noise. Unit has fully equipped kitchen--I used electric pot to make my coffee every morning. Washer/dryer came in very handy--she now has the manual right there to figure out how to use it. She has a mobile phone you can borrow as well as umbrellas and many guide books. Location is great--Gloucester Road tube station less than 10 minutes away and large Waitrose Grocery at station. The unit is so quiet, you'd never know you were so close to main roads. Many great restaurants in area too as well as bus stops and stop for Hop On and Off Big Bus. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Lovely apt. great location.

"We stayed at this apartment for 5 days in May. It is a very well laid out apt. The rooms are airy and well equipped. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen was well fitted out and spacious. The whole flat was clean and well proportioned. The owner also is very responsive and helpful. The location is ideal for doing pretty much anything in and around London with good tube access and taxis easy to find. Central London is easily walkable too. I would recommend the property unreservedly."

  • We keep returning!

"This was our third stay (a recommendation in itself) in this lovely flat in Bloomsbury. Each visit has been a little longer as there never seems to be enough time to do all we want to do in London. This is why we decided to stay for four weeks in January this year. Everything we said about the flat and its wonderful location in our first review still holds true (see December 12, 2011), so we will only mention here a few of the improvements that the owners have made to the flat in the past year. There are three which we particularly appreciated. The bathroom has been completely redone, with a spacious walk-in shower, new fittings, and an over-the-sink cabinet with ample storage space for all those things one needs in the loo. There is also a new washer/dryer (one single unit as is common in the UK) in the private laundry room half a flight down, as well as a very useful drying rack. The manual for the flat has also been improved, completely revised and updated. As always, the owners and their daughter, Antonia, are delightful to deal with, responding immediately to any questions or problems. We are already planning our next visit."

  • Perfect Flat and Location!

"This flat is in the ideal location. All pictures truly are accurate and the flat is indeed charming and homey. We arrived early in the morning and were able to drop off our luggage and was shown how to use appliances etc. We returned at 2:00 and was able to get right in. Need to know about the property is that the flat has steep steps down to the entrance. If you are traveling with an older family member or with someone who has a handicap this flat is not for you. suggested dining in the area: Zizzi, Champions Pub, Portabello Restaurante (make reservations), The Churchill Arm for Thai and just to view the beautiful building! (Reservations are a must!) Nottinghill Gate Tube and bus stop right near the flat. Very convenient. We also did the Big Bus Tour (hop on/off) was also very a great form of transportation to see the entire city. For car service we used the service they recommended on several occasions, Addison Lee, They were always prompt and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend this flat and would stay here again."
