  • flat gloucester road

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the flat in Gloucester Road. We found it to be very clean and well equiped, with everything we could need for our stay.. We were pleased to find that Gloucester Road is a nice calm residential street, so that we all slept very well. As we had nice weather, we were able to have a lovely walk through Hyde Park, to visit Westminster, Buckingham Palace etc. by foot which was much nicer than getting the underground. We also appreciated being able to adapt our arrival and departure times."

  • All the Five Star Reviews are Spot On!

"We spent a lovely Easter weekend stay at this cosy, extremely comfortable flat in the delightful area of Chelsea. All the descriptions are extremely accurate, and the reviews allthough now a couple of years old are still absolutely true, and the flat still lives up to expectations. From the very first email to Fay, to receiving our security deposit back, Fay was efficient, honest and very up front. There were no nasty surprises at all. We were able to walk to many attractions such as Buckingham Palace, Chelsea Football Club, the Royal Albert Hall for a Good Friday performance plus of course it is a 10 minute walk to Sloan Square tube. Kings Road restaurants were also a 10 minute walk. On a rainy Easter Sunday we stayed in the flat for the day, it was so quiet and relaxing. I would not hesitate staying here again if ever I head to London again. It is ideal for a solo or couple travelling who love a quiet place to come "home" to at the end of a hectic day in London!"

  • Wonderful!!!

"Just a quick note to say how wonderful our stay on Eel Island was. The listing is accurate, the owner wonderful to work with and the town of Twickenham delightful. The home is located in a very private area out of the hustle and bustle of London proper but the city is quite easy to get to using public transportation. We would not hesitate to recommend this home. We would love to return."

  • The Perfect Getaway

"I don't even know how to start my review because there are so many wonderful things I want to mention first! The bedroom is perfect. The blackout blinds are great for sleep or for midday naps, and the bed is so comfortable it's hard to drag yourself out. The downstairs area is great for having a small group over for dinner and a movie or game night (I found scrabble in a cabinet as well as several other games which made my day)! The kitchen is also great. Better than my kitchen at home! I looked forward to cooking meals and taking advantage of all that was available. The garden is so charming and beautiful. It's probably one of my favorite parts of the apartment because with the massive windows you can look out and see squirrels or birds while you enjoy your morning coffee. There are rose hips and pears growing in the garden, and you get a special satisfaction cooking with homegrown ingredients. The location is very convenient. Half a block away there is a mini market, bakery, and cafe/deli (which is DELICIOUS), so you don't have to stray far when you need something. A little further down and you get to Portobello Road where you can get fresh produce or find an amazing vintage piece. The owners were very kind and helpful. When you're unsure about how something works, odds are that there is a helpful note not too far away explaining what you should and shouldn't do. If you're not familiar with the area, don't be afraid to ask for tips, they're so accommodating and sweet! Highly recommend this place to almost every kind of person."
